Ran Razors Edge concaves from @ThunderstruckAg in S680 in ~90 bushel hard red spring wheat, harrowed the field, got 2” of rain and many days of 20+ degrees. This is the regrowth. @JeremyM_Ag All wheat we hauled in was less than 0.8% dockage as well. About 30k bushels. 🤙

@yake121 @ColinMartel91 If you can pick up with head in flex only, I’d do that before lifters. Those things pop rocks up like crazy.

Anyone have experience with flex float fingers? Gonna talk to a neighbor that has them but thought I’d reach out to a broader audience. I want to use them in canola in particular.

Struggling to get rotor loss under control on the 9770. Tried all kinds of settings currently at 970rpm and 3 on concave. Nice sample but losses are thru the roof. Sunnybrook concaves. Just slow down?

Think if I chip my s690, I’ll spring the rotor faster to get the grain out of separator quicker to help losses?

If you gotta change the fan belt on an S Series, you should rebuild the engine while you’re at it, you’re half way there anyway

@DrewCardy They could be ankle high be harvest. In 2016 they dragged on the bottom of the sprayer, had 32 inches of rain from seeding to harvest and they yielded 65.

I know nothing.. Do short peas still yeild like tall peas?peas are like 1/2 the height to last year at back end of flowering. At harvest I noticed 1/2 the plant was all stalk anyway

Got some flowers for the yard a few days ago, Figured they could use a little fertilizer cuz why not. My idea of “a little”. turned out to be 10,000lbs N per acre… I’m buying more flowers 🥀

@PaysDeDieuxSeed @rhofford Do you see leaf burn? I’m doing 1mt with 750usg @ 10usg/ac ~ 10lbs n per acre. Mixed with folvic. Bronzes all the leaf tips. Recovers after a week but makes me pucker. Same results with or without pesticide added.

@rhofford Yes. Hoppered 5000 gallon tank. 2T urea per 650 gallons of water makes 1000 gallons of urea water.

@DrewCardy I figure midrows wouldn't work great because there's no packer wheels on them. You're trying to use it as an opportunity to get fert on ahead of something? Plus I like 10" beans in a dry year, closes in faster.

Anyone ever put beans down their dry midrow runs for wider spacing? And fert down seed shanks.
