@El_FreedomFairy Indeed, participation is different and arguably much less discriminatory than fiat. But objectively, not everyone can participate. There's only enough space for 7tps which is nothing compared to current demand on Visa and MS. Is this not concerning on its own merit?

You are conflating two separate issues. The issue with fiat sanctions is that specific transactions can be blocked, or frozen, for political reasons (no matter the ‘fee’). Clearly, this lends itself to a corrupt and exclusionary system. Bitcoin mempool congestion on the other hand is a neutral fee auction based on the principles of voluntary participation & competition. Anyone can participate, and due to the decentralised hashrate , no transaction can be effectively on the basis of political or ideological censorship.

@BobPipe @PeterMcCormack @PNWConservative There is a way to pay for things without being forced. Heck, fire suppression can be automated and put out the fire before a human is required. All funded without a need for a gun.

Can anyone tell me what a “fair” tax on the “rich” is? I still can’t get a straight answer. Is it 30%? Is it 50%? Is it 90%? And what would be considered “rich”?

@TheBitcoinJason If it doesn't load for you, then most likely you have a tyrannical overlord between you and the servers. I didn't expect australia to be quite just that far along yet. I strongly recommend getting a VPN. Maybe try @mullvadnet

It seems that a shared source between X and youtube have marked whybitcoincash as "harmful" and is now censoring it. Nothing has changed, page still loads fine. Creepy part is that that X and youtube share a "harmful" / "misinformation" / "malinformation" enforcement mechanic

Hey @KimDotcom I was linking your website, why Bitcoin Cash .com as an information source and @YouTube just gave me a warning and removed it and that's how I found out why. Have you stopped maintaining it?

Having issues with slow loading movies in VLC like I did? It is probably Windows Defender, needs an exception for it Go to Windows security Virus and Threat Protection Settings Manage Settings Scroll Down to the bottom and click on add or remove exclusions Add a folder exclusion for C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC Now it loads faster. Welcome.

@creatrix_ttv There are three types of relationships: 1. Giving 2. Transactional 3. Coercive Capitalism is 1 & 2. But he thinks it doesn't include 1, hence the confusion. He also doesn't know the definition of socialism.

I don’t love the choice of wording here, but I *think* I understand their point. The Church is “socialist” only in the sense that it's historically functioned as a voluntary, communal body that provides mutual aid and a sense of obligation others, rather than operating on pure market exchange. This is biblical, but the Church isn’t meant to be coercive, and it doesn’t force people into being charitable or redistributing their resources. People choose to participate and support others within a moral framework that they’ve opted into. This comes back to the importance of separating Church and State: the state shouldn’t be doing the Church’s job and vice versa.
Joel Berry@JoelWBerry

Tucker’s latest guest: “Capitalism shouldn’t be anywhere near Christianity. Christianity is socialism at its core.” Tucker agrees

Those Iranian people would rather die than live the horrors of so called life under that regime. They have said so. Can you imagine especially as a woman or young girl what is done to them? Repeatedly beaten, raped etc. They are murdered for any small thing. They are slaves to the regime there. They murdered thousands of people and will kill more. This is on the regime of Iran making the people be human shields instead of surrendering and setting the captives free.

My jerry cans are full and I'm not shutting up. Governments use classic scapegoat mechanics. The Australian PM needs a domestic villain to explain the fuel shortage without indicting the supply chain architecture he's responsible for. "Hoarders" are perfect: diffuse, impossible to defend as a class, and the accusation itself makes anyone with jerry cans feel guilty enough to shut up. Meanwhile, the government's own panic buying on the international stage (structurally identical behaviour at a larger scale) gets framed as "leadership." He blames Iran. He blames Trump. He blames you. Notice who's missing from that list. Here's the thing: it is logical for the government to panic buy fuel right now. Do it. Would be even nicer if they got our production going again, or at least expanded our reserves, but right now? Yes. Panic buy on the world stage. Get us fuel. It's also logical for Australians to panic buy. It's not your responsibility to ensure the government makes it through this crisis. It's your responsibility to make sure your family makes it through. I suggest you do in fact fill up your car, all the way, unnecessarily so. Maybe even that empty jerry can in the garage too. P.S. I am a farmer responsible for more than 50 families and their food supply. If your first instinct is to attack me for "stealing fuel from farmers", you just did the PM's scapegoating for him, for free. He didn't even have to pay you. You are the cheapest political asset in the country.

I bought headphones with Bitcoin today. My old ones were literally falling apart and barely worked. I’ve been putting off buying new ones for ages as I’m not a big spender, but I decided to bite the bullet and use some BTC to purchase them. Australia does not have a big Bitcoin scene, so it’s only very occasionally that I spend BTC but I like to do so where possible. Now off to enjoy life with 10/10 noise cancellation (a must) and new, pink headphones 🥰🧡
