@TUTU_RICE @i80_Sports I largely enjoy Nashville’s route from amateur NPSL team owned by the supporters/fans playing in Vanderbilt’s stadium to USL to MLS. Not exactly the same as promotion but there was some overlap among the players and staff at each level.

@i80_Sports The story behind Wrexham is 100% more interesting than any MLS teams. If this isn’t an indicator that MLS needs a pro/rel system than idk what is.

People will wake up early in the US to catch Wrexham, but won’t watch MLS because “the quality isn’t there.”

@krassenstein @MrBeast @elonmusk Once kids get past the 4th grade it’s hard for them to catch up on literacy if they’ve fallen behind & illiteracy is one of the major markers continuing generational poverty. Focusing on early education & gathering volunteers to help teachers with one on one reading would be good

Weekend Question: If Jeff Bezos gave you a $1,000,000,000, how would you best use it to help the most people over the longest period of time? This is a question to everyone including @MrBeast himself as well as @elonmusk (although it's a bit ironic). Here is my answer: My biggest worry in this initiative would be the ability to trust those I give the money to. On average, about 67 percent of the funds donated to charities actually get used directly, and 33 percent go to the fundraisers themselves. Therefore I would probably start my own foundation, where all employees, including myself, work without a salary. Next I would focus almost entirely on education. I feel that education (ages 3 to bachelors degree) would likely give the most bang for the buck. Instead of giving scholarships or providing debt forgiveness, I would probably partner with Khan Academy and other non-profit online course initiatives and launch a free education portal online, that would allow for the earning of actual degrees. I would also work to perfect this new portal and try to raise additional capital to push forward curriculum for all ages. If we want to promote college education, the solution is not to give $50k a year to students via scholarships who then spend it at for-profit universities and colleges. It's to make getting a college education affordable, or even free. With AI, the internet and the ability for young people to learn on their own, with direction, there really shouldn't be a reason why one can't take free online course and merely attend a testing facility once per semester to see if they pass the class. I'd love to hear your ideas
