Hope you like our song and please vote for us if you do. 🇮🇱 in ESC: we will be in this contest whether you like it or not and we will abuse the system and do way better and if you complain, you’re an antisemitic scum and you deserve only the worst. One only gained on average 30-40 additional points with the televote in past few years while the other gained 200. One is not like the other, at all.

I’m obviously not gonna watch the ESC final but I hope Skrellex wins MGP cause he has made statements on Israel-Palestine before so we know where he stands.

For context, “Into the wild” is Skrellex’ song for MGP 2026, that will compete in the final if the song wins the radio cup final which will be decided by a public vote tomorrow.

I miss the days when artists who returned to national finals slowly and got better until they broke through with a song ready for top 10 at Eurovision. Artists who returned feel now either go gimmicky to try to get in or spam enter slowly weaker songs every year until they get in

@windminimal I think it’s because Gåte did a lot worse then they should have done, so I think NRK try to move in a different direction. It also seems like they’re goign in a more radio-friendly direction

Two more contestants, Sander Silva and Victorjus, have withdrawn from MGP, Norway’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The duo say Israel’s war crimes against Palestinians in Gaza make it impossible for them to participate.
