Farage has been campaigning this week to bring back handgun ownership in UK, he has obviously forgotten the reason they were banned. Exactly 30 years ago today these children went to school in Dunblane, Scotland and never went home again.

Age 5,there was a darkness in my chest from not being loved. My 1st teacher, Ms Arkinson,changed that. She taught me to wash,that I was enough,that I was worthy. She placed a light in my chest that has never gone out! Today,I got to meet her again. Today, I said thank you!

@Samstricko181 We are so far away from the purpose of inspection for improvement’, not punishment. The word brutal has no place. As a vice chair of govs our heads said at inspection last yr ‘she didn’t have another 1 left in her’. Amazing dedicated head. SIAMs 6mths after completely different

I keep hearing from people who have been inspected that it is brutal on leaders. I thought we were moving to a new world order where leader welfare & wellbeing was a priority. My fear. If we burn leaders who will run schools further down the line? There isn’t a queue.

@jon_severs I have 3 kids in 2 different secondaries, 1 has them, the other doesn’t. I see the benefits. I notice a difference in use at home, the kids with pouches hardly reach for theirs, the 1 without is almost attached to their phone. I think it helps to break that hard habit

@OliDugmore The Uturns framing frustrates me, good leadership is listening &learning, negotiation & compromise it should be seen as a positive that they’re listening and addressing concerns, doggedly going ahead against views isn’t good leadership, everything in politics is about trade offs
