And now I’m here in one of the most perfect bars in London. This bar hasn’t changed at all in the last two hundred years. Not that I can remember it back then, even though I am old enough to be a Grandad now.

@CharlieStirlin2 @on_scotland There is definitely a very good reason for having it but the actual reality of transporting uncrushed cans via ferries back to manufacturers is so wasteful and impractical. Thankfully litter is less prevelant on the islands in any case.

@EdgeofMull @on_scotland But it would at least provide cash incentives for someone to pick up and get the return…that being said I don’t understand why people just don’t take it home or bin it…absolute laziness

I did a quick litter pick of 50m of road verge today on this Highland Road. A total of 29 cans and plastic bottles picked up. Anyone care to guess what the most common drink can found was? Even beautiful locations such as this are not free from those who litter.

The beaches are one of the big draws on Iona, but scrambling over the rocks can give you great views across the water.

@pblevins10 No, my knees aren't as flexible as they once were so I will scramble while I still can!

@EdgeofMull If I attempted to scramble across the rocks, my first of view of the water would likely be when I fell into it! I can't scramble these days.

@WildlifeBlog @Osprey49 I saw a couple of mating hares 2 weeks ago. It seemed extremely early!

One of several brown hares I photographed today. It had been one of a group of 7 hares that were involved in mating displays well before the mad March hare time.
