@FBAwayDays It's not a "brilliant gesture" at all. They sold this package & if they didn't honour it, they'd be absolute c*nts to back out & shaft those fans. Owner getting praised for finally coming out to confirm the offer still stands is dumb, it should never, ever have been in doubt.

Coventry City owner Doug King has confirmed in a recent BBC interview that the club will fully honor the special Premier League package purchased by fans back in 2023. That package locked in frozen ticket prices for five years and included a key promise: if the Sky Blues achieved promotion to the Premier League within those five seasons, buyers would receive a free season ticket for the club's first year in the top flight. With Coventry now on the brink of promotion, the club has officially confirmed that eligible fans from the 2023 package will indeed get their free Premier League season tickets next season. With the price of away tickets capped at £30, that means they’ll technically be able to see every single game next season, home and away, for just £570. 😍 What a brilliant gesture to reward the 5,000 loyal supporters who backed the club early! 👏

@henrywinter I would suggest this also leads to whether certain other players should be allowed a call-up - you know, the ones who conveniently pick up an injury and withdraw from friendlies but are miraculously fit again for next club game. Are they any better than White's self-imposed exile

@teadrinker68 Riches on offer for Champions League would help us massively, plus the upgrade in quality of players we could attract in Summer transfer window. But actually - a shot at actually winning the Europa would be my choice. We desperately need silverware after all these years!

If Everton do qualify for Europe this season - still a massive ask - would you want us to get Champions League, just to actually be in it and all the kudos it brings? Or Would you rather one of the other competitions and have a realistic chance of having a crack at winning it?

@WelsbyElton I actually really like West Ham and if I wasn't so crazy for my beloved Everton, I'd definitely be a Hammers fan. Maybe I just have an affinity for clubs like this who torture the soul, suffer relegation fighting despair, but once in a while give that truly special magic moment.

@Steve_Grad I'm nowhere near to an expert but even I can see how bad it is. Most obviously on the letter(s) "y" which are clearly lacking his odd style of almost a stiff point before turning into a loop on the bottom of the descender.

2026 Topps Heritage Box 6 Horrible 6/6 Patches. One missing the patch. I’m sure there are cases that are great and will have 8 autos in 12 boxes. I am 6 patches in 10 boxes so far. Not for the feint of heart. Expect disappointment @topps disappointed @CardPurchaser

@Steve_Grad May i ask what this book is called? "Operation Bullpen" by T. Fitzsimmons is it? Would love to read it as heard snippets of the scandal but not a great deal because not a big story here in UK. Super interesting as far as I can tell. (And fingers crossed Amazon UK stock it too 🤞)

That’s a good book. I saw the warehouse in 1992 with FBI agent Tim Fitzsimmons who also wrote the OPB book. Good guy! The warehouse was massive, those folks forged a lot of stuff.

@Leaf_Cards I love this... Mostly. The problem I have with this and many other autos is the complete lack of effort in the signature. I know that's not your fault, it's the "celeb" but v. off-putting. For instance, I have one by Goldie Hawn and it's stunning!! Worth every penny.
