I really enjoyed watching Mackenzie Martin in action for Cardiff RFC this afternoon at the Arms Park. Such a force of nature raw talent. Played on the blindside flank, but wore No 5 because he couldn’t fit into the 6 shirt! A real prospect.

Yesterday’s draw at Sardis Road takes Cardiff to four games unbeaten against Pontypridd, our best run in the semi-pro era, and best since a seven-game unbeaten run from April 1998 to April 2002.
The first draw between the sides since a 16-16 finish in October 2010.

I think you'll find that Pontypridd were the best team in Wales between 1990-2003, before rugby was cruelly snatched away from Core Valleys Region by small towns in west Wales and one club in a city people.

@EllisY1997 3 yellows aye! Despite our 1 warmup game our experience bettered their attacking game which was prone to errors. Knock ons, forward passes, dropped passes. Compared to last year with a kicking game from Dan Fish, this was more open. Our forwards put in some big hits all game.
