@ccurts2 @RickyHarries I didnt see the France England game but watched it back last night and it restored my faith in rugby.
Not only for the comedy ending for Pollock. But mostly. The England rugby team had started to become fairly likeable then this guy turned up.

This is a really helpful explainer on the EGM, its focus and potential outcomes.
Well worth a read.

@Oldsuliansrfc I mean, it was basically the perfect result for Welsh rugby fans.

These lads really didn’t want Ireland to win the Six Nations, did they?
Philippe, élevé au Jock® comme l'UBB💙💛🚵🏻🏊🏈🍷@chocoylatine
La fin du match France-Angleterre dans un pub Gallois... 😁

@Bonymaenbowls "...and I've never tolerated the sort of defending I saw today".
English

@exiledholdfast @jpstafford I think it's the oneI'm thinking of. Above the road, a silly slope, up on your right as you drive from town towards Cefn Coed?
English

@CapS45 @jpstafford Take the rd up from Sketty Cross and at the second set of lights turn L towards Cockett (straight on goes to Townhill). Park is immediately on the right

One thing that is fantastic about football is that you can play it almost anywhere and it's still a great sport you can enjoy. Love this.

Meanwhile, the Guatemalan amateur championships. 🇬🇹 🤯

@AttackingScrum @ITVRugby A harsh sanction for a technical infingement, but, in the interests of entertainment...
English

@SamLStandsUp Finishing with a genuinely silly game and a ridiculous final act
More of this kind of silliness please.
English

@CapS45 @jpstafford Spent many hours during the 70s playing football/rugby/cricket n Dunvant Park. There was a football pitch on this small park between Sketty and Cockett; check out the contour lines!!

English

@CapS45 @jpstafford Mynydd Newydd with its completely independent climate was always a personal 'favourite' of mine
English

@Big_Al_1963 Thats the test when Bob Deans claimed he scored and Welsh players dragged him back. The referee was about 60m away 😀 Pretty sure it may even have been the motivation for Old Scores!

English

@CapS45 @Simon_J_Black I have a good feeling about tomorrow 😌
English

@DanHallettPharm Good point. Imagine being a Dragons fan?
Thanks Dan. That's put a sense of perspective on my self-pitying wallowing.
English

@CapS45 Sport and supporting a team isn't there to be enjoyed, it's to endured.
It builds character and provides those lessons in resilience.
Yours,
a Dragons Supporter
English

@CapS45 I clearly need to up my ‘sport watching room’ game
Does it have a bar ?
English

@JeffAce3 @Simon_J_Black This is the thing.
Your 25 year old Man City fan or your 40 year old Irish rugby fan can never really feel that kind of elation because they haven't experienced 30 years of endless neverending crushing disappointment.
And let's not mention Kiwi and Saffa rugby types.
English

@CapS45 @Simon_J_Black *inhales cigarette* We'll always have Scott Gibbs at Wembley.
English

@Simon_J_Black @CapS45 Those weirdos in school who weren't interested in sport? Bet they've had brilliant, well balanced lives. Bastards.
English

@CapS45 I've been watching sport since 1989, in the 37 years of my watching sport I can count on one hand how many happy years I've had.Even in those years I have enjoyed I remember the low points more
I inherited my love of sport from my Mam,I curse her every day for inflicting it on me
English

@Simon_J_Black And there's still a potential third successive 6 Nations whitewash tomorrow to look forward to...
