When it’s adventure time!

Another great launch today, bringing together children from Keir Hardie Primary, Star Primary and Elmhurst Primary. We spent some time getting to know each other before reflecting on writing, poetry and life.

It was fascinating to hear children interview each other, and to read the their perceptions on poetry and the writer’s life at the launch of our Poetry Retreat. We wonder whether perceptions will alter? #NewhamPoets

If you want kids to love reading, show them YOU love reading! Talk about books, share books & enjoy books with them – not as something good for them, like vegetables, but as fun! I've seen it work so many times. Just share your love of books, and #literacy will follow.
