Apologies for the quote but I do feel like I have to get this straight. A lot of Zutaras don't hate Aang. They just feel uncomfortable with shipping Katara and Aang when she's been mothering the Gaang for so long. The only person she never mothered is Zuko [+]

@Elmo_ui Zuko understands what losing a mother you’re close too is like. He only found out she was potentially alive when he left. He didn’t manipulate anyone. He gave Katara what she needed during that time. Closure. She carried the guilt and pain of that memory.

Let's get one thing clear: the Southern Raiders episode is NOT romantic. It's actually a point AGAINST Zutara. Zuko capitalizes on Katara's grief to deflect her anger for him onto someone else and gain her forgiveness. That's not love and understanding. It's manipulation.

@Elmo_ui Yess! I’ve been saying this, once an enabler, ALWAYS an enabler. Plus the shit he said to aang about his people omg

Zuko spent his whole life dealing with anger and he thought that was a good way to deal with. He understands her pain/anger and doesn't overstep. He's simply fully supportive her Hate on Zutara all u want but there's no need to create fake scenarios to make Zuko look bad
