@AIRTEL_KE how did my Airtel Wi-fi router number get to Tala people? And, how did you @TalaKenya get my WiFi number. This is crazy, does this mean the communication companies sell our information. @CA_Kenya are you aware of this?

Apart from lack of money to purchase overpriced tickets, the other reason I dont go to kenyan concerts is because most kenyan artsists and I daresay, are lazy. Extremely lazy. Some of these people dont even remember the lyrics to their songs buana. Ni anaimba line mbili ile anakumbuka alafu anaweka micro phone kwa hewa kama Musa wakati alikua anaitisha radi wakiwa kule misri. Muendelee kuimba penye amesahao. Akiwaambia muinie mkono moja juu. Na saa hiyo ujue umelipa elfu nne pesa taslim If not that, these artists come to play their music in the speakers like we’re in a disco matanga. And this is very common. Jamaa anawekewa ngoma yake alafu anaanza kuifuatilia,he sings along it. Unashangaa hii ni upuzi gani,si ningekaa tu nyumbani niskize youtube. And the guy now even sweats profusely, doing nothing! Very few kenyan artists take their jobs seriously, like sauti sol. Hawa wengine ni watu bure kabisa If I pay 3k for a ticket. I expect you to sing your song and It has to sound the same way it sounds in youtube. Sio mambo na kuniambia niinue mkono moja juu. Ata huyu Charisma kama hangekua team Maraga ningeweka yeye tofali namna atari sana. Why are you asking me if I am ready after every eight minutes?

Let’s just log into this new app and let them know how we truly feel. As a customer I don’t need a million services on one app, I use Mpesa to simply pay for products and services. Nothing else... Where possible may be Safaricom should have different app options for different demographics, Safaricom Basic for those of us complaining and Safaricom Technical for those who have the time to scroll and like puzzles.🧩 @SafaricomPLC this new app doesn’t serve me better as you’ve put it. The only thing I appreciate in your new update is that I can monitor my data usage. That’s it.

i wish more people gave airtel a chance. esp on data and airtel money. with the interoperability thing, we should be able to lipa na mpesa on airtel and sometimes get part of the transaction cost back as credit. then we start asking for airtel paybills at shops monopoly iishe.

I wish @AIRTEL_KE would have an idea to take advantage of this @Safaricom_Care downfall 💩🚮
Gathogo B.Mwangi@GathogoBMwangi

Dear @Safaricom_Care, this is defensive marketing and it only flops. Stop this gimmicks and stop arguing with the actual users of your products. Fix it. We are the ones who use it daily not you. Products should be developed following user-satisfaction not engineer-satisfaction. Feedback should shape products, not engineers. You have seen the honest feedback on this app and more, continuing to push the product is creating a defensive altercation with the users. Fix the app!!

@Safaricom_Care @SafaricomPLC What's the plan, I can't log back to my app using WiFi. I have to keep on getting an OTP to log in while out of WiFi range and use cellular data. I don't get the transition here. Very frustrating 😡😞.

@JacobOkello2010 Hello @JacobOkello2010 .We’re sorry for the frustrating experience. We understand your concerns regarding SIM preference and app performance. Though the app does not use data bundles. Your feedback has been noted and shared with the relevant team for improvement. ^CR

Guys, there’s a Bill in Parliament that most people haven’t even noticed... but it’s about to affect fishermen, fish sellers, and even you as a consumer. It’s sponsored by Kimani Ichung’wah. At first glance, it looks normal… until you read deeper. It creates new bodies like: -Kenya Fisheries Service -Fisheries Council -Fish Marketing Authority But we already have institutions like the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS). So you start asking yourself... why add more layers with duplication of roles in a struggling economy? Then you keep reading. -Fish sellers will be required to keep records of the types of fish they sell and quantities. And they can be inspected randomly. Failure to produce can lead to arrest and fines or bribes -Fishermen will be required to land fish only at designated landing sites, e.g., the Shimoni port that's about to be privatized -So imagine you’re out there, low on fuel, bad weather... You still have to push to a specific landing point. Otherwise? It becomes an offence. Then you notice something else. The Bill keeps using the words: “as may be prescribed.” Which basically means.... the real rules can be changed later and are broad enough that they can be used to abuse people. And that’s where it gets uncomfortable. Because in Kenya, that kind of setup usually turns into: “Your paperwork is not okay…” “Hii haiko compliant…” “Tunaweza saidiana…” Now combine that with: More boards More approvals More inspections And you can already see where this is going. The people who will feel this the most are not big companies. It’s the small fisherman. It’s mama samaki. It’s the ordinary Kenyan just trying to make a living. To be fair, there are some good ideas in the Bill, like sustainability and safety. But as it is right now... it feels like too much control, too many grey areas, and too many chances for abuse. Maybe I’m wrong. But this is one of those things we should be talking about early. Because once it passes... It’s very hard to reverse.

Today, 176 biology students from Masinde Muliro University woke up at 3:00 a.m., ready to travel from Kakamega to Mombasa. The students had packed their bags the night before. Some even slept in their shoes, knowing that this trip was not just academic but also an opportunity to experience the beaches of the coast. Yesterday, many of them called their parents, full of excitement. Parents, in turn, prayed for them and were thrilled to see their children learning beyond the classroom. By 4:00 a.m., dozens of students were already in the parking lot, eagerly waiting to board the three MMUST buses. They even took Anti-vomiting tablets to relieve nausea and vomiting. They waited for thirty minutes, one hour, two hours, growing increasingly impatient. Soon, frustration set in, and the students demanded answers about why the trip had not yet started. Unfortunately, no one was available to provide any explanation. Hours passed .... three, four, five, six, all the way to ten, until around 3:00 p.m., when the students finally learned that the university did not have money to fuel the buses.
