If MW4 wanna do something really cool, they need to bring back full character customization. We had that in Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, and a little bit of BO3 & IW. We need it back. Kind of tired of just operator skins and that's it.

@TheGhostOfHope This year with games will be so interesting in that month. But for COD, I don’t know. I feel like it’ll have a solid launch player base but not much more around it. I’ll be interested to see how COD even tries to market it.

If Infinity Ward/Activision really think they’ll be able to just ignore MWII/WZ2 being a stain on the franchise and just use MW2019 marketing nostalgia to get people on the MW4 hype train I think they’re sorely mistaken… but at this point what can they really do against GTA 6?

@PeterP_1985 At least to my understanding that’s what had happened. Cause Neural rendering stuff is mostly just huge optimisation changes to my memory, like VRAM reduction, multi layered materials, radiance cache etc… non of it was Gen AI except neural faces to memory.

@PeterP_1985 The worst part is with neural rendering is it is good and will be a genuine leap. The complaint should defo be directed towards the neural faces part cause that uses Gen AI. Unsure why they’d also show off that the entire thing for DLSS 5 was gen AI.

Going forward I am 100% done worrying about the length of the Platinum videos For the longest time I've had this arbitrary number in my head that I set for myself of how long one of these videos should be. But the reality is with the way we do these videos and how they've evolved since I first started, they're just going to be long. Because of how much gameplay we show, how in detail we go into with the story, doing the little post game review, everything, we are ALWAYS going to be 90+ minutes. 3 hours from time to time. Maybe even more depending on the game. Unless it was just not as entertaining of a playthrough or game, that's just what it is. The only way around that is to split the videos or just cut stuff entirely and I'd rather not make them at all than do that. This is something I've struggled with internally for a while now, concerned that they're just too long, but I've come to realize most of you love the length. Seems like 99% of the audience has no problem with it and actually prefers it that way. And ironically my longest videos over the years also happen to be the most successful, rewarding, and lucrative. So.. if that's an issue for you, then I'm just not for you, and there's plenty of other Platinum trophy content out there to consume that's more traditional in length 👍

Death Stranding 2 has some of the most detailed character models out there. No DLSS and runs amazing on the base PS5.

@gabrielangel @ChaosElemental7 @NikTek No, MetaHumans aren’t generative AI. Real scans + sliders/blending. Deterministic, not neural gen from prompts. They’re made from a massive library of real human scans + parametric blending/sliders (morph targets from actual faces & bodies).

Death Stranding 2 already proved that you don't need generative AI to make extremely realistic faces in video-games This running smoothly on a PS5 console is showing how much progress game graphics have made over the years. Most importantly, this doesn't look uncanny

@GermanStrands Huh… Look still early days, I don’t like the faces it reminds me of those Neural faces shown off last year. I do think they would’ve been better finally showing off things like Radiance Cache and Texture compression from last year instead of just what they did today.
