This is the direct consequence of memory-holing Occupy. If Americans remembered the lessons of OWS even a little: that Obama, the FBI and DHS coordinated with Democratic mayors nationwide to crush our movement, people in 2026 wouldn't be so shocked that DNC is violently pro-ICE.
Luis documents🧢@luisdocuments

ICE at Delaney hall weren’t the first ones to shoot rubber bullets or throw tear gas. It was NJ state troopers under the order of the governor. Whether democrat or republican, both will always repress protest and media.

#OTD So much positive momentum in protests organically spreading from city to city, Only to be doomed by a tiny few insisting that the 2020 uprisings still be called #BlackLivesMatter(tm) out of misdirected wokeness, which in turn enabled the BLM(tm) founders to loot millions.

My question is what she really wanted this $5 million for. Can’t be homelessness. Her signature grift Inside Starving ripped through $300+ million while barely moving the needle on getting people housed. $5 million is obviously nothing by comparison.

If one of you reporters feel like digging, Karen Bass sought $5M to the “mayor’s fund” from the Qatari govt. supposedly to “fight homelessness.” The govt agreed to pay it (even posted about it on an IG account) before taking it down. What did the Qatari govt expect in return?

@sarahlazare @Sam28048595 @radicalamy Kinda predictable after union leadership completely abandoned MLPS's organic community-led escalations of wildcat general strikes against ICE (including sabotaging a rent strike) that went over their (DNC controlled) heads, no? x.com/i/status/20670…
Ergoat@Ergoat

@disorderlyswine It was the purposeful total lack of union leadership after Minnesota residents organized a wildcat general strike in days. ergoatoneiric.substack.com/p/how-all-unio…

Minnesota trade unionists are among the 15 people indicted by the federal government today, as part of a crackdown on organizing in opposition to ICE. The indictment cited participation in worker assemblies as evidence of conspiracy. By me and @radicalamy workdaymagazine.org/minnesota-trad…

My frontal lobe fully developed, and I realized that working a 9 to 5 job five days a week until I am 60 just so I can “enjoy” a few years when I am close to death is the worst idea I have ever seriously considered.

Amy is absolutely right. People act like SSDI and SSI are some kind of jackpot. The reality is that many disabled Americans spend years fighting through denials, appeals, paperwork, and endless stress just to be heard. Millions of Americans have paid into the system for years before becoming disabled, yet they’re often treated like they’re asking for charity instead of accessing a benefit they earned. There is nothing “lucky” about losing your health, losing your career, losing your independence, and then spending years proving over and over again that you’re disabled enough. The real miracle isn’t getting approved. It’s surviving the process. 🇺🇸💔
Aimee@AimeeS999

@VinoNStrosGal If you are lucky enough to finally get approved, the average SSDI recipient receives $1,630/month & SSI recipient average is $994/mo! It's not even a living wage! And we are expected to be on our knees in gratefulness & appreciation! HOW DARE THEY TREAT US LIKE THIS!

an underdiscussed aspect of modern capitalism is that most low-wage jobs tightly regulate what you're doing at all times while you're on the clock and most high-wage jobs consist of hours of unstructured time in front of the computer during which you can do whatever

The San Francisco Homeless Tenants Union
Here’s a weird fact: in San Francisco the homeless population has a higher percentage of people born and raised in S.F. than the general population.

33 years ago, June 13 1993, in an action led by Homes Not Jails, 150 activists and homeless youth seized a vacant building owned by the federal government in San Francisco. HNJ, who demanded the conversion of vacant properties into public housing, held the building for 37 days
