DOGE recommended firing workers at:
-FDA, which oversees Neuralink
-FAA, which oversees SpaceX
-USAID, which probed Starlink
-CFPB, which oversees Tesla's financing arm and a potential payment platform on X.
"Conflict of interest" is a severe understatement.

NY Governor Kathy Hochul said she intends to sue President Trump to overturn his decision where Trump removed her congestion toll on drivers.
Am I understanding this correctly? Is she seriously suing to continue placing a toll on drivers?
At the end of the day, it's very simple:
Trump and his oligarch friends want to cut programs that working class people rely on, and give huge tax breaks to the very rich.
The American people have to stop them.

Chris Matthews pleads with someone, anyone in the Democratic Party to stand up to Trump. "Why can't a Democratic leader stand up...Who's going to stand up?"
"Why isn't Cory Booker...He's got all the talent in the world. I'm a big Cory booker fan. Do it, Cory. Do it!"

Bernie Sanders: "We're not only dealing with a move toward authoritarianism, we're dealing with what is new to America -- politicians have always lied, nothing new about that. But the level that we're seeing right now. The big lie, over and over again ... "

"This is in violation of a presidential executive order. It needs to stop" -- Elon Musk, on Hannity's show, makes clear he has no idea how the American government works by asserting that Trump can use executive orders to unilaterally impound funds appropriated by Congress

It's stunning to me that every newscast is not starting their shows with:
The Trump administration has fired individuals involved in the care and security of nuclear weapons, aviation security, bird flu and infectious disease responses. This is all in less than a month.
BREAKING: Senator Chuck Schumer lashes out at DOGE and Trump for trying to save taxpayers money.
"Of course, there's some wasteful spending, but you don't use a meat axe & cut everything!"

This is absurd, corrosive nonsense. There are not tens of millions of dead people getting Social Security checks, and the only reason Leavitt is out here making these hysterical claims is because Elon Musk misunderstood a table of numbers.(1/n)
@xxsparky89xx@pismosteve@elonmusk That was $72 billion over 8 years, so $9 billion - or less than 1% - a year. And most of those overpayments were recouped.
Looking at the number of people getting SS benefits by age and comparing it to the total number of Americans at each age tells you that there is no systematic fraud, and that, in particular, there are not millions of people over the age of 100 collecting SS benefits, as Musk implied in his tweet on Sunday.
