@rhema_beth recharged their @AirtelNigeria ODU subscription on May 28. Since then, they have barely been able to browse. He is using MTN to send this complaint because Airtel doesn't work. He is paying ₦25,000 for a service they cannot use. @AirtelNigeria a ₦25,000 subscription that doesn't work for most of the month is not a service. It is a transfer of funds with no delivery. @NgComCommission please note that this consumer tagged your commission directly. @AirtelNigeria must address this and provide a refund proportional to the downtime since May 28. #EthosReviews #TelecomAccountability

@Clinzytrilly is experiencing two simultaneous failures from @AirtelNigeria: data disappearing at an alarming rate, and being unable to view their own data balance. He has called customer care multiple times. Nothing has been resolved. When a consumer cannot monitor their data balance, they lose the ability to detect or prove unauthorised deductions. Preventing access to balance information while data depletes is a particularly damaging combination. @AirtelNigeria please restore data balance visibility and audit the unexplained deductions immediately. @NgComCommission #EthosReviews #TelecomAccountability

@brainpower24 pays for @AirtelNigeria's 50mbps ODU unlimited plan. The speeds delivered are so far below 50mbps that they had to post this complaint using a different network entirely. He has already sent the requested DM, and predict based on experience that Airtel will not reply. A consumer who predicts with confidence that their DM will be ignored, based on Airtel's established pattern, is not being cynical. They are being accurate. @AirtelNigeria please prove them wrong. @AirtelNigeria I think it’s high time @AirtelNigeria ceased being a telecommunication company(internet provider) and start selling snails🐌. Imagine paying for 50Mbps(ODU unlimited) & getting this!! I’ve switched network mode many times. I still had to post this using another network entirely.

@keneislit's @AirtelNigeria data depleted by over 4GB in a single day, without using a second phone, laptop, or sharing hotspot with anyone. Their device was the only active user. Data depleting at a rate inconsistent with verifiable usage is not a device setting issue. @AirtelNigeria please audit this account's deduction log and explain what consumed 4GB+ without the consumer's device activity justifying it. @NgComCommission #EthosReviews #TelecomAccountability

@Krymyello1 has been at Idi Ape on Iwo Road Ibadan for a month. Both @MTNNigeria and @AirtelNigeria have been delivering extremely poor connectivity consistently for the entire period. Neither network works reliably at this location. When a consumer subscribes to two separate networks and neither works at their location, the problem is geographic infrastructure, not an individual line issue. @NgComCommission we formally request a joint NCC coverage audit of the Idi Ape-Iwo Road area in Ibadan. Both MTN and Airtel are failing this community simultaneously. #EthosReviews #TelecomAccountability

@nuedenfoods received less data than they paid for from @AirtelNigeria and was ignored for two weeks. Airtel only responded after @ConsumersNCC publicly intervened. When a company ignores a consumer until the regulator forces engagement, the consumer's complaint process has been completely bypassed. @AirtelNigeria please credit the shortfall in data and provide an explanation for why this was only addressed after NCC intervention. @NgComCommission @ConsumersNCC #EthosReviews #TelecomAccountability

@OlusholaAbiola5 has been unable to use their @AirtelNigeria 5G smart box WiFi for three weeks. Their complaint was first raised on June 4. Airtel's approach: reply when they feel like it, without ever resolving the issue. @donj2005 paid ₦25,000 for an @AirtelNigeria ODU subscription using Smartcash. The subscription was not activated. Airtel then removed Smartcash as a payment method from the Airtel app, without refunding the consumer. Taking ₦25,000 via a payment method and then removing that payment method without refunding the failed subscription is not a platform update. It is consumer funds held with no service delivered. @AirtelNigeria please refund this ₦25,000 immediately. @NgComCommission #EthosReviews #TelecomAccountability

@ms_essiee has been subscribed to @AirtelNigeria's 50mbps plan for 4+ months and consistently receives below 10mbps. They renewed their subscription recently only to be told they have no active plan. @NgComCommission asked Airtel publicly for a status update. Airtel said they raised a ticket for a site visit and drive test. No one visited. No one called. @AirtelNigeria raising a ticket and not executing the visit is not a resolution process. It is the appearance of one. @NgComCommission Airtel's response to your public inquiry remains unfulfilled. #EthosReviews #TelecomAccountability

@NgComCommission @AirtelNigeria Good day. Airtel has not resolved the issue still. They sent a mail on Sunday stating they raised a ticket on my issue for a site visitation and drive test. However, they’ve still not visited nor reached out to provide further assistance.

@Ibee_27 paid for a @AirtelNigeria 60mbps subscription on June 10. For 6 days, He has been unable to use it. He has now purchased alternative internet and no longer want a fix. He want a refund. A consumer who had to buy a replacement service because theirs did not work is entitled to a full refund for the non-delivered subscription period. @AirtelNigeria please process this refund. @NgComCommission @ConsumersNCC this consumer has already tagged your commission. @uyauju has just discovered that two @AirtelNigeria numbers are registered under their NIN, numbers they never activated and did not authorise. Unauthorised SIM registrations linked to a consumer's NIN expose them to loan fraud, identity theft, and financial crimes committed in their name without their knowledge. @AirtelNigeria please immediately identify who registered these numbers using this consumer's NIN, deactivate them, and provide a full explanation. @NgComCommission @ConsumersNCC this is the same NIN misuse pattern we have flagged in previous cases. An urgent investigation of Airtel's SIM registration processes is required. #EthosReviews #TelecomAccountability

@thisstephenrare has had no @AirtelNigeria internet since June 12. It is now June 16/17. Five days with no internet on a paid subscription, and the days are counting down. This consumer first logged this complaint on June 14 (ER-096). Airtel promised 24hrs, then 72hrs. Both timelines have passed. @AirtelNigeria please restore service and refund this consumer for every day without internet. @NgComCommission #EthosReviews #TelecomAccountability

Airtel responded that the subscriber's line "has been worked on" and they need to restart their device. @__Casmia confirmed publicly: this is false. The network is still not restored. This is now the third time in one week that Airtel has provided inaccurate information to NCC when the regulator made a public inquiry. @NgComCommission @ConsumersNCC Airtel's pattern of misleading your commission is now documented across three separate cases. The account is still locked. @_serialsower needs to dispute a transfer but the in-app dispute feature has been removed from @gtbank's GTWorld app. Online banking and email channels are also proving difficult to navigate. Removing a dispute resolution feature from a banking app without providing a clear alternative leaves consumers with no accessible way to raise transaction complaints. @gtbank please restore the in-app dispute feature or provide a clear, accessible alternative pathway. @cenbank removing dispute mechanisms from banking apps warrants regulatory attention. #EthosReviews #ConsumerProtection

@Willahaotu made a GTBank card transfer on Saturday. It failed. The reversal has not come. They have directly tagged @cenbank asking how long a failed transfer reversal should take.
