85 Ambo staff away for COVID led to a very difficult night for SA Ambulance. This highlights why we need more ambos - we are making up for lost time by hiring 350 more, with 99 more by 30 June. The first 32 new grads start tomorrow which couldn’t come at a more important time.

Today the RAH is needing to increase COVID capacity - however they are unable to do so due to ambulance shortages. Transfers out of the RAH are still waiting over 20hrs for an available ambulance. #saparli
