Today at UN Headquarters, ICC member states voted by a majority of 82 to remove Prosecutor Karim Khan.
Khan thought his political witch hunt against Israel and outrageous arrest warrants would distract from serious sexual misconduct allegations. He was wrong.
@NYCMayor Zohran Mamdani, take note: using Israel as a political weapon will not shield you from accountability.

On July 20, hundreds of Israeli settlers, lawmakers, and ministers marched to the barbed wire fence that surrounds the 2.2 million people in Gaza. Yesterday, over 4,200 Israeli Jews commemorated the holiday Tisha b’Av by storming and desecrating Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Settlers were again joined by Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who entered the compound under heavy protection from the Israeli police.

The charges brought against his colleague involved thousands of on hours of work, involved 3 judges from the ICC bench, and was not ‘rushed’, considering that the crime of genocide was in question.

The long-delayed removal of Karim Khan from the ICC for serious misconduct has exposed the moral bankruptcy of a corrupt Prosecutor who rushed to file scandalous arrest warrants against Israel’s PM and former DM, in an attempt to deflect from the serious misconduct he feared would be revealed.
These were politicized and outrageous arrest warrants against elected leaders of a democracy with an independent legal system defending its citizens against terror. These warrants, issued against a country that is not even a member of the ICC, should never have been sought in the first place and should be revoked immediately.

The #ICC is more than any one person.
Some good news: The warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant are based on heaps of credible evidence collected by leading investigators - and nothing else.
The warrants remain in place and Netanyahu and Gallant remain wanted for war crimes.

Settlers do not go for idyllic strolls to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the West Bank; they go on the rampage & raid Palestinian villages & attack unarmed civilians while destroying homes, crops & cattle.
