On Sept 11, members from EXFD teamed up with members from Chan Fire to participate in the 9/11 memorial stair climb at LifeTime Chanhassen. These firefighters climbed 110 flights of stairs, the height of the World Trade Center, to honor the 343 firefighters who lost their lives.

Our team was out-and-about this morning to spread the word about our Fire Prevention Open House and Safety Fair. Thanks to the local businesses for allowing us to display Open House flyers and thanks @SoLakePD for loaning a few officers to assist with flyer delivery. 🚒🚓

🚫 ROAD CLOSURE 🚫 Highway 7 is closed east bound at Christmas Lake Road due to a vehicle vs pedestrian crash. Use alternative routes. MN State Patrol is handling the investigation any inquiries should be directed to their PIO.

Two fun facts about this duty crew shift: 1) This crew is made up of members at all levels - a Chief, a Captain, a Firefighter, and a Probationary Member 2) These members are all 55+! Proof that age is just a number!

Flashback to four weeks ago when we were rolling around the District visiting as many block parties as we could! We had so much fun! Thanks for always welcoming us to your neighborhood! Can't wait til next year! 📷

The Excelsior Fire District Auxiliary is hosting their Carwash for a Cause this Saturday, August 10th from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Station 1 in Shorewood. We hope you are able to stop by and show your support!

COOKIES FOR A CAUSE 🍪Next Monday, July 29th, Join us at Crumbl Cookie Minnetonka from 5-8pm. A portion of your Crumbl Cooke Purchased from 5-8pm will be donated to the Excelsior Fire District Auxiliary and used to purchase life-saving equipment and supplies for the firefighters.
