Last week, our employee-led Corporate Responsibility Committee hosted a potluck to benefit Freedom House, an initiative of @FCSserves that provides transitional housing for #homeless #veterans. ES employees raised over $500 at the event to donate to #FreedomHouse! 💞🇺🇸

Service Leader Clarice Farley recently facilitated a ⚡️ Service in a Flash ⚡️ event that invited volunteers to make valentines for residents of Kentway Senior Independent Living.

Thanks to so many donors who contributed food items for Pizza Night Giveaway and Taco Tuesday Giveaway! Sixty families received the ingredients for these meals in January and February. In addition, gloves, hats, scarves and blankets were distributed! And some gift cards too!

Portage County Cares and like minded citizens are hosting a donation event on Saturday the 31st from 9-11am in front of the Portage County Courthouse. They are collecting hygiene products for our male and female recovery houses, Root House and PARC. All donations welcome!

Due to the recent heavy rains, the Portage County Senior Center will be closed to on-site visits through July to remedy things and do a few renovations in order to make our senior center even more welcoming.
