प्रणॉय रॉय इतने ग़रीब नहीं कि ... एनडीटीवी के संस्थापक और प्रोमोटर रहे प्रणॉय रॉय की इस तस्वीर को देखकर बहुत से लोगों को लग रहा है जैसे उनके पास कैमरा खरीदने को पैसे नहीं हैं या फिर उनके पास रिसोर्स की ऐसी क़िल्लत है कि एक मोबाइल फ़ोन और सस्ता माइक लेकर निकल पड़े हैं . कई दिनो से सोशल मीडिया पर ऐसी पोस्ट पढ़कर मन हुआ कि ऐसे लोगों को बता दूं कि प्रणॉय रॉय को एनडीटीवी के मालिकाना हक से हटाने या हटने के लिए करोड़ों रुपए मिले थे . गूगल करिए पता चल जाएगा . उतने रुपए में सैकड़ों कैमरे खरीदे जा सकते हैं . इसलिए उनकी ‘गरीबी और आर्थिक मजबूरी’ पर भावुक मत होइए . उनके पैशन की जितनी भी तारीफ़ की जाए कम है . उन्होंने एनडीटीवी जैसा एक शानदार संस्थान खड़ा किया . सैकड़ों पत्रकारों की पौध तैयार की . दर्जनों बड़े नाम और बड़े चेहरे तैयार किए . अपने संस्थान के पत्रकारों के साथ काइयाँ मालिकों जैसा बर्ताव कभी नहीं किया . ख़ुद भी हमेशा एक मृदुभाषी , शालीन और एक मंझे हुए विश्लेषक की तरह काम करते रहे हैं . चुनाव को लेकर प्रणॉय रॉय के विश्लेषण को हमेशा Unparalleled माना जाता रहा है . मैंने कभी एनडीटीवी में काम नहीं किया लेकिन एक संस्थान के तौर पर हमेशा एनडीटीवी को देश का सबसे बेहतर संस्थान की तरह मानता रहा . प्रणॉय रॉय के संस्थान को कैसे अडानी ने खरीदा या उन्हें कैसे बेदख़ल किया ? उसके पीछे क्या कहानी है ? इसके बारे में बहुत कुछ लिखा और कहा जा चुका है . मैं सिर्फ इतना कहना चाहता हूं कि उनके पैशन को उनकी गरीबी के तौर पर मत देखिए . जहां तक मुझे लगता है कि आज भी उनके पास अपना शो करने के लिए ठीक-ठाक स्टूडियो है . आज भी उनकी ऐसी आर्थिक स्थिति ऐसी है कि सौ -पचास लोगों को कभी भी नौकरी पर रख सकते हैं .

I asked you to show the fees receipt but you did not do and I had to look for the prospectus online and share the data. The budget of AIIMS is ₹5500 crores.
