On Wednesday, the 🇫🇷 President will announce the name of the future (new generation) 🇫🇷 aircraft carrier, aka PANG. How will it be named? Stay tuned!

Deeply saddened by the death of a French soldier and the wounding of French personnel in Iraq. My sincere condolences to the family, their comrades, and to our French allies. These incidents remind us of the dangers our forces face to keep us safe.

A major blow to the shadow fleet: in the North Sea, our French Navy helicopters helped last night in the boarding by Belgian forces of an oil tanker under international sanctions. Europeans are determined to cut off the sources of funding for Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine by enforcing sanctions.
