📍Estonia | Training exercises for the BAP71 Rafale ✈️   NATO’s Baltic Air Policing mission aims to monitor and protect the airspace of the Baltic States (🇪🇪 🇱🇻 🇱🇹).   As part of this, the 🇫🇷 Rafale carried out live-fire cannon drills over the Baltic Sea, targeting DART 🇪🇪training drones.   🎯 Objective : to practise in conditions close to real scenarios, implement the new cannon firing procedures and strengthen cooperation between allied forces to protect Baltic airspace.

📍Far North | The @MarineNationale 🇫🇷 alongside the 🇬🇧 carrier strike group   ⚓ Integration of a multi-mission destroyer demonstrating our ability to operate jointly with our allies 🇬🇧 for the collective defense of the Far North.   🤝 Strengthening cooperation and operational readiness to ensure maritime security.

📍Black Sea | One mission, allied resources, one objective   ✈️ In coordination with 🇧🇪 and @NATO: ➡️ Conducting a joint and allied flight over a strategic area, mobilizing fighter jets 🇧🇪🇫🇷 as well as refueling and reconnaissance aircraft 🇫🇷   🎯 To demonstrate the ability to conduct an international operation in an area of major interest, ensure freedom of airspace, and strengthen security along Europe’s eastern flank.

📍Lithuania | Air Surveillance in the Baltic 🇫🇷 ✈️ The Rafale jets of the BAP71 detachment, based in Šiauliai, were scrambled twice this week to carry out the Baltic Air Policing mission. 🎯 Two Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) sorties resulted in the interception of two SU-30s, followed by one SU-30 and one TU-154, demonstrating an immediate response to foreign aircraft that don't comply with the rules in force. ➡️ This system provides continuous protection in full coordination with our @NATO partners 🇱🇹🇫🇷

📍 Paris | Enhanced Aviation Security for #July14   ✈️ Activated as part of the national celebrations in Paris, the Special Aviation Security Plan (DPSA) strengthens the ongoing security posture of the airspace.   🎯 With detection and intervention means, aviators have thus created a protective bubble preventing any unauthorized aircraft from entering.   ➡️ This measure is directly aligned with the interministerial mission to combat drones.

🚨 Immersion au cœur de l'exercice majeur ORION 26 🚨 Depuis 2022, les compétiteurs stratégiques de la France multiplient les attaques hybrides visant à fragiliser la cohésion nationale et à affaiblir notre modèle de société. ⚠️ Dans ce contexte, les Armées françaises ont conduit, entre février et avril 2026 sur le territoire national 🇫🇷, ORION 26, un exercice interarmées et interalliés de grande ampleur Cet exercice d’envergure a mobilisé jusqu’à 12 500 militaires 🪖, appuyés par 1 800 véhicules tactiques 🚛, 140 aéronefs ✈️ et 1 200 drones 🤖. 🇪🇺 #EUMAM | The 🇫🇷 Forces keep supporting the 🇺🇦 personnel   ➡️ Training Ukrainian soldiers, sailors and airmen in specialized operational skills in France and Poland.   ➡️ Providing training on the operation and maintenance of donated equipment, including CAESAR artillery systems and Mirage 2000-5 fighter aircraft.   ⚓🪖✈️ Continuous support in land, maritime and aerial warfare in order to support the Ukrainian forces for the defence of their country and to contribute the security of the European continent.

📍Mediterranean | 🇫🇷 aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and its strike group sail alongside the Standard NATO maritime group 2 🫡   ⚓ While patrolling in the Mediterranean, the French carrier strike group encountered the SNMG2 at sea, composed by 🇮🇹 patrol vessel Raimondo Montecuccoli and 🇬🇷 frigate Kountouriotis   🤝 Sailing together in order to enhance our joint operations capabilities - especially in air defence warfare.   #StrongerTogether #WeAreNATO
