When discussing costumes, we realized that all of Yuzuru Hanyu's SP world records were achieved in blue costumes. In the spirit of @rockerskating's #gratuitousfashiontweets, we ran a statistical analysis of highest score vs mean blueness and found a 75% correlation.

@HANYUISM_ In many ways, athletic feats fall on a spectrum of pure performance art to pure competition, and I'm still convinced some folks would be happier further down the art side of the spectrum. Or, further subjective on the subjective to objective metrics of comparison scale.

@chazzleazzle Part of it depends on where you live, mainly humidity. In my experience of bread duration at room temp: great plains (very dry area) >>> west coast > east coast (Disclaimer that all of mine is made from scratch, but I don't doubt bought bread keeps far longer)

@naumovogm Worlds to general public, GPF to fs fans. Prestige is subjective. GPF requires more consistency with 3 comps at different venues with different time zones and ice conditions. Lack of country quotas, particularly in women's, makes for harder final. But Worlds gets more publicity
