My thoughts on the Iran issue. Thank God that there are leaders who understand the threat and are taking the necessary action to address it. I've been waiting for this for 47 years. I remember, all too well, the day the American hostages were taken, and the 444 days of their captivity. I remember, all too well, the Iranian diaspora, and the horrors that the regime imposed upon it's own people and upon the world. And when it is gone, and buried, with a stake through its heart, I will smile and say: Good Effing Riddance.

A few markers of a completely retarded AI slopper 1. 15 reposts of your own tweets under something that getting views 2. _ai suffix in the nickname 3. "Get my daily AI analysis newsletter to your email" > Dude who tf are you? 4. The .com website with 24 organic clicks from india 5. No work, no product, no actual AI usage just big words and L takes

Chamath on how AI agents are making the "10x engineer" distinction disappear because the most efficient "code paths" are now obvious to everyone. Just as AI solved chess and removed the mystery of the best move, AI is doing the same for coding, making the process reductive and removing technical differentiation. "I'm going to say something controversial: I don't think developers anymore have good judgment. Developers get to the answer, or they don't get to the answer, and that's what agents have done. The 10x engineer used to have better judgment than the 1x engineer, but by making everybody a 10x engineer, you're taking judgment away. You're taking code paths that are now obvious and making them available to everybody. It's effectively like what happened in chess: an AI created a solver so everybody understood the most efficient path in every single spot to do the most EV-positive (expected value positive) thing. Coding is very similar in that way; you can reduce it and view it very reductively, so there is no differentiation in code." --- From @theallinpod YT channel (link in comment)

I don't think Rust is the best programming language for LLMs. The only reason why Greg said this is because Rust limits the LLM from making mistakes by not compiling shitty code, but the LLMs still suggest using unsafe! to bypass security rules. Therefore, I would say that Go is the best — if there is any "best" language for LLMs. Since LLMs are based on next-token prediction, it's more important that the code looks almost the same to get a good result. Go was designed to make every app around the globe look almost the same; for instance, there is only one way to make a loop compared to Rust, which has at least five that I could think of (loop, for, while, while let, and map). I want the best language to be rust tho
Greg Brockman@gdb

rust is a perfect language for agents, given that if it compiles it's ~correct

It's not a question anymore, most of Zig's best features were designed for human ergonomics, which matters less now All of Rust's best features came at the cost of added verbosity, which applies less to agents because they have superhuman working memory and never get tired

@elonmusk It's all about the space you are in. In deep learning compilers and kernel optimization there's very few phonies. In self driving cars and humanoid robots on the other hand...

I just want to remind the rest of the world: every single AI company here in Silicon Valley get tokens for absolutely free rn It’s only you paying those 200$ for max plan

This whole segment just rubs me the wrong way Jensen is very clearly talking up his book: wanting to see companies spend *much* more $$$ on GPUs / tokens... to increase NVIDIA revenue even more... to do the same thing as they already do (build software, as they have before)

@d4m1n using it right now, and its fucking fantastic. People will piss on it cause its based on their bench "cursorBench" but it is pretty much a standard bench and it works very much as advertised.

GLM-5-Turbo the goat, great in Droid Built me a full-stack fundraiser site with Convex. I am crowdfunding for gpus to help with my research. All funds go to GPUs which publish compressions 24/7 by end of year. I will also open them to researchers on X ui-beta-snowy.vercel.app

The reason I mention this is because we are heading into a world where you make no decisions. You experience what others want you to, no thinking. No choosing, just clicking what they think you should see.

@fish_groyper Its because Nick Fuentes is spewing complete garbage. He is completely brain washed with Religion and White supremacy. His views do not improve or advance society. If everyone adopted his views humanity would start regressing.

Elon Musk refuses to allow Nick Fuentes a blue checkmark on X, because of this he • Can’t use 2FA • Forced to use a 100+ word password • Cant use more than 280 characters • Severe restrictions on video uploads • Cant edit posts • Forced to view goyim ads • Extreme shadow ban / suppression on all posts • Cant profit off creator monetization despite having millions of views and engagement When will @elonmusk realize that the people side with Nick Fuentes?
