I was on the beach in San Blas with my wife and her family from Santa Ana when I watched you get sworn in on TV. I knew nothing about you at the time, but it was cool to see as an American. My first trip to El Salvador, I was told as a gringo to keep my head down and my eyes to myself. Every establishment had armed guards outside. The streets emptied after sunset. My wife’s aunt would lock up the house, and we didn’t step foot outside the barbed-wire walls until the sun came up. We returned this past summer, and the difference was night and day. Thank you, President @nayibbukele. Thank you for every Salvadorenõ past, present, and future. Your leadership has created a phenomenal change that people simply cannot understand unless they’ve witnessed it firsthand. The people are free. Smiles flood the streets. Laughter fills the parks, loud and abundant. Hearts are open and welcoming. I just had the best 15 days of my life. We have many more trips planned, and we’re even preparing to return permanently. We’re ready to integrate and be part of El Salvador’s bright future. I want to see the UFC do great , even though I’m no longer with them at all. As a fan of the sport I hope ufc gets bigger and bigger. But it’s not a good look that it seems like they aren’t listening to the fans anymore and making the right fights happen. That said, man I’m fucking excited for the Netflix MMA card

I love the little portion of MMA Twitter who are paid or either pretending the MVP Netflix card is somehow " good " and they are " excited " to watch it. The same people calling it a good card are the same folks saying UFC has gone down hill. Are you kidding? Let me break it down for you. Nate Diaz hasnt fought MMA in 4 years and is 40 years old. Mike Perry hasnt fought MMA in 6 years. That's your main event. Diaz is a legend but he will be slow and boring just like Nick was against Anderson Silva. It's nothing more than a payday so he can buy more weed and fish on his boat. Ronda and the other chick are mid 40s. The boxing speaks for itself and no one wants to see Ronda armbar a 45 year old chick on the ground. Total shit show. Junior Dos Santos almost got beat to death by Cain in 2013. That was his last good fight before he seemed like he had enough. I am surprised he was sanctioned to fight 13 years after that fight aged 42. At least the UFC is putting on fights showcasing the best athletes in the world. MVP and Netflix are the ones exploiting 40 year old plus former athletes who mostly ended their career getting battered to shit. Good luck
