Because Gabriel is over rated - mainly based on his goals. Watch him properly over a number of 90 minute games and you’ll see a small handful of decent moments, and that’s about it. Arsenal looked no worse when Hincapie and Calafiori partnered Saliba. Looked better if anything.
Saliba is much more polished. Especially on the ball. Arsenal miss him massively when he’s out.

I have three questions:
1. Islam has been present in Yorùbáland for roughly 600 years. Why are we only now having conversations about implementing Sharia law? Does that mean our Muslim ancestors were somehow deficient in their practice of Islam?
2. What aspect of Sharia are you currently unable to observe in Yorùbáland that requires it to be incorporated into the laws of the land? Why are voluntary and independent Sharia panels no longer sufficient?
3. You argue that various countries and northern states have failed to implement Sharia properly, which is why it has infringed upon the rights of unwilling participants. What makes you think Yorùbás would somehow be immune to this same “misapplication” once Sharia is codified into law?

Just to clarify my point so it’s not misunderstood. I’m not in any way making excuses for extremists or groups trying to impose Sharia law through violence or outside of lawful governance, especially in the Southwest or anywhere else. My tweet was speaking generally about how conversations around Sharia law are often shaped more by fear of misuse or extreme examples than by what it actually is in principle.

Yoruba women fought for their right to education down to rights to vote though.
Funmilayo Ransome Kuti was the Pioneer of female education in the Yorubaland
These are the things that Islam gave women for free.
A woman wrote the highest numbers of Hadith, which was well accepted till today.
Women have never struggled to get educated in Islam, it's culture that forbade them, not religion.

Yoruba women lack none of this though, Yoruba women are entitled to education, work, right to own property and independence since day one, no be the introduction of Islam bring those rights. Women are not allowed to lead in Islam but in the Yoruba culture, Women are allowed to become Regents and Kings, leading men and women of various communities. With evidence, kindly tell us the name of a Muslim woman that has led men and women before.
