Once again we begin this year’s journey, these wonderful little Dace have provided us with a great start to the season 👌

89,000 fish were supplied to the Midlands by @FishFarmEA in Nottinghamshire last year. They've been used to restock rivers and stillwaters across the region, to help boost fish populations. All funded by rod licence income 🎣

This month we stocked 5,000 bream from @FishFarmEA into Gunwade Lake in Ferry Meadows Country Park, Peterborough. A partnership project with the local angling club and Nene Park Trust has also created valuable habitat and refuge areas for fish. Supported by rod licence income.

Busy day today for our delivery team from Calverton @FishFarmEA who also supplied some pristine looking fish to Cadover and Hermerdon Lakes.

Harvesting has begun on the Tench ponds, some lovely looking fish again this year!

The harvest of our youngest fish stocks has begun, these Barbel will spend another summer of growth on the farm before being ready for release into the wild. Notice the mottled colour of these young fish which will change as they mature.
