Very few sci-fi movies/ shows manage to capture what it would be like for a human culture to really live in a place that is alien. Most sci-fi locations are just extreme versions of things we’re familiar with, but this felt truly different.

Had to take a breather but thoughts on season 5 Icel its probably the weakest for me. It had some good stories but some stories i really didn’t care for (Arya). I feel like the other seasons balanced the characters better because Bran was barely in any episodes

The fall of Rome was SO stupid that the Emperor literally just moved to Ravenna and everyone forgot about him. There wasn't a cool battle or anything. Odoacer just declared himself "king of Italy" and poof, the original Empire was gone. Now we are reduced to arguing about who the rightful heir to the Romans are. (Yes I know it's the Byzantines.)
