@ChrisMicheli I guess the worst policy can be the longest policy. These tax credits are bad news. It’s using the tax code to red distribute wealth, and have politicians in Sacramento pick winners and losers.

(2/2) But then I came across CRTC Section 17053.98.1, which provides a tax credit for production of a qualified motion picture in CA under the PITL. This one has to be the longest Code section in existence. It is nearly 19 pages, single-spaced, with 10,616 words!
