🚨🇺🇸 NASA confirmed a 1-ton meteor, 3 feet wide, traveling at 35,000 mph broke apart 29 miles above Houston today. The fragmentation caused the booms felt across the city. If it hit the ground intact? "We're bringing it forward from the early 1500s in the highlands to the beyond present-day New York and Hong Kong, and seeing how it goes. There's big opportunity for action. There's a chance to play a character that not a lot of people get to play. And it's a bit of a love story, but not how you think.
My selling point was, to [Henry Cavill], look, you've got a guy that's been alive for over 500 years. He's the last person in the world that wanted to be in this situation. There's basically no difference between this and the exact same kinds of "dumb spring breaker" videos you'd see 10 years ago or 20 years ago or 30 years ago. I actually don't mind the fact that a bunch of 18 and 19 year old kids are totally ignorant about world affairs. That's healthier than obsessively doomscrolling alone in your basement or whatever. The problem is that these kids can vote. We should all just agree that 19 year olds are stupid and don't know anything, and that's basically fine, but it's also why they shouldn't be able to vote. Raise the voting age to 25.

If a single stray molecule of regular H2 leaked into that trap during the drive, the resulting gamma-ray flash would have triggered the sensors instantly.
