今年で創立80周年を迎える経済同友会の「会員懇談会」にお招きいただき、ご挨拶申し上げる機会を頂戴しました。 「今こそ同志相引いて互に鞭ち脳漿をしぼって我が国経済の再建に総力を傾注すべき秋ではあるまいか。」 今から80年前、経済同友会の設立にあたり、戦後の混乱の中、互いに力を合わせ、知恵を尽くし、日本を再び立ち上がらせようと強く決意された創設者達のお言葉です。 物価高や低迷する潜在成長率、戦後最も厳しく複雑な国際環境など、かつてなく困難な課題に直面している今こそ、先人達に学び、日本を再び立ち上がらせなくてはなりません。 その為に、高市内閣は、政府が一歩前に出て、事業者の皆様の「予見可能性」を高め、「国内投資の促進」に徹底的なてこ入れをしていきます。 既に、先の令和８年度税制改正において、「大胆な設備投資促進税制」を創設するとともに、８年度予算も、予算全体にメリハリ付けを行う中で、「危機管理投資」や「成長投資」の促進策について大胆に増額しました。 この内閣で初めて概算要求から取り組むことになる令和９年度予算案の編成に向けては、今夏にとりまとめる『骨太の方針』で、複数年度予算や長期的な基金による投資促進策や、「危機管理投資」「成長投資」などＧＤＰ成長を後押しする予算を多年度・別枠で管理する仕組みの導入など、予算編成方針を具体化していきます。 また、『日本成長戦略』において、大胆な投資促進策をはじめとする、「供給」及び「需要」の両面にアプローチする総合支援策を取りまとめていきます。 経済同友会の皆様にも、今年１月に就任された山口代表幹事のリーダーシップの下で、政府と連携し、積極的で大胆な国内投資に取り組んでいただくことへの期待をお伝えしました。 先人達が築いて下さった豊かさの土台に立ち、その叡智と努力に学びつつ、「日本列島を、強く豊かに」していくため、官民手を携えて、果敢に挑戦を続けてまいります。

Let them insult the whole of sub-Saharan Africa, because if every sub-Saharan African decides to independently uphold a value of self-worth that doesn’t beg for validation, sub-Saharan Africa cannot be insulted. It is the same reason African parents say to us, “Don’t bring shame to your family”because through one person, an entire family can be condemned. As Africans, and with our collective fight to be relevantly respected as a continent and people, we MUST ensure to “doublethink” when we want to act in any manner that attracts public attention and not be selfishly oblivious of reality and the ripple effects of our actions to that collective.
