@FrUgochukwu Anyone with a good conscience should be afraid to live in world where SIMPLY CALLING FOR PEACE would be met with "attacks and bullying." God bless Pope Leo XIV.

This is unhelpful and so beneath the office of the POTUS.
Pope Leo XIV remains a man of deep faith and selfless service to the people of God and to the conscience of society.
He does not support war or the taking of innocent lives, especially those of children and families.
This attack on his person or his family does not advance any serious conversation.

@UcheMaryOkoli Very unfortunate that the Pope and some world leaders are more concerned about the lives of Nigerians than some of their own leaders. Anyone with good conscience should be afraid of a world where simply CALLING FOR PEACE would be met with “attacks & bullying. God blessPope LeoXIV

This was a few weeks after the conclave.
Pope LeoXIV was the first to call out the gen0cide that happened in Yelwata Benue state Nigeria.
What some of you are doing to Pope LeoXIV is evil.

Those who pray are aware of their own limitations; they do not kill or threaten with death. Instead, death enslaves those who have turned their backs on the living God, turning themselves and their own power into a mute, blind and deaf idol (Ps 115:4–8), to which they sacrifice every value, demanding that the whole world bend its knee. Enough of the idolatry of self and money! Enough of the display of power! Enough of war! True strength is shown in serving life. #Peace

@frjamesa Absolutely! “Violence will never have the last word.”
English

God desires peace for all nations—a peace that is not merely the absence of conflict, but an expression of justice and dignity. This peace, which allows us to face the future with reconciled hearts, is only possible through forgiveness. The true struggle for liberation will only be definitively won when peace has finally been achieved in hearts. I know how difficult it is to forgive. Yet, as conflicts continue to multiply across the world, resentment must not be added to resentment from one generation to another. The future belongs to men and women of peace. In the end, justice will always triumph over injustice, and violence, despite appearances, will never have the final word.

@UcheMaryOkoli The Church is not a political party and cannot fit into any political category. She teaches and preaches the truth of the gospel without fear or favour. Sometimes comforting the discomforted and Unsettling to the comfortable.

@frmarcellinus That “Space” where God reigns supreme, and His will and designs perfectly established and accomplished.

1. Good evening my people. How una dey? I'm glad that you're good. I have one good gist 🔥. Oyá bring chair, and a little piece of chicken. Let us talk about Heaven. Yes that heaven. When I was young I used to think that heaven is a place with plenty rice and chicken 🍗. Now that I am older and I have seen the light, I have added red wine and some fruits to the menu 😂.
2. Heaven us not just a place with clouds. It is the ultimate happily ever after. It is a state of being totally connected to God (the Trinity), Mary, the angels, and everyone else who lived a life of faith. It is the finish line for everything humans naturally long for: complete and permanent happiness.
3. God is way beyond human understanding. But in Heaven, He gives people a special superpower-capability to see Him exactly as He is, face to face. Oversabi people that their brain use to pain them call it Beatific Vision.
4. You don't have to wait for the end of the world. Since Jesus ascended to heaven, people who are purified (ready) go straight there after they die.
5. When I was little I also used to think that purgatory is a place where they will give you a razor blade to fell a tree 😆. If someone dies as a friend of God but still has some spiritual baggage, they get purified first, then head to the party.
6. You don't lose yourself. You actually find your true identity and your real name once you're with Christ. Heaven is described using images of the best things in life: a huge wedding feast, bright light, and total peace. Those in Heaven are still working in a way: they're joyfully cheering us on and helping carry out God’s will for the rest of creation.
7. Jesus unlocked the door through his death and resurrection. Heaven is the perfect community where everyone is finally home, totally yourself, and totally in love with God.
8. Thank you for reading this far. May God bless you.

Pope Leo XIV says “I have no fear of neither the Trump administration nor of speaking out loudly about the message of the Gospel. And that’s what I believe I am called to do and what the Church is called to do. We’re not politicians. We’re not looking to make foreign policy, as he calls it, with the same perspective that he might understand it. But I do believe that the message of the Gospel, ‘blessed are the peacemakers,’ is a message that the world needs to hear today.”

@frjamesa Vocal against drawing the church into political debates. To a similar question he said “Please be careful not to use political categories to speak about faith, to speak about the Church. The Church doesn’t belong to any political party; rather, she helps form your conscience.”

@RosaryMum In season and out of season, we must continue to share this transforming message and love of God.

@FrCescoofmcap This was "prophetic" even without knowing it. Rest in the peace and love of Christ Bishop Peter Nworie Chukwu.

History was made in Algeria today.
Pope Leo became the first Pope to visit Algeria. An Augustinian Pope in the land of St Augustine of Hippo.
Ugochukwu Ugwoke, ISch@FrUgochukwu
In his first speech in Algeria, Pope Leo recited the Beatitudes, the same sermon that Jesus Christ preached on the mountain.
English

@FrUgochukwu Saint Augustine will be smiling right now. Of course, we believe in the communion of Saints. St. Augustine pray for us!

@frmarcellinus There you see the reason why the Church is the center of attraction and a punch bag for some. The gates of Hades will not prevail!
