Day 25 – Wednesday of the Fourth Week of Lent Theme: Living in Obedience to the Father Scripture: John 5:19 – “The Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing.” Invocation of the Holy Spirit Holy Spirit, Spirit of sonship, teach me to desire and follow the will of the Father. Meditation Lord, You reveal Your deep union with the Father. Your works, words, and decisions flow from obedience and communion. You do not act independently but in loving alignment with the Father’s will. I often seek my own will first, asking You to bless it afterward. Yet true life is found in obedience to God. Lent exposes self-will and invites trustful surrender. Obedience is not loss but alignment with truth and goodness. When I follow my own way apart from You, I become restless and divided. When I seek the Father’s will, I walk in light. Teach me to desire what the Father desires and to trust that His will leads to life. Petition Father, form in me a heart that seeks Your will above my preferences. Remove resistance and self-will from me. Resolution Today I will pause before a decision and consciously ask, “Lord, what is Your will here?” and follow it. Closing Prayer Lord Jesus, You lived entirely for the Father. Draw me into that same obedience and trust. May my Lenten journey train my heart to seek the Father’s will and to find life in doing it. Amen. (Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.)

DAILY PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH (Prayer after the Rosary) To you, O Blessed Joseph, we come in our trials, and having asked the help of your most holy spouse, we confidently ask your patronage also. Through that sacred bond of charity which united you to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God and through the fatherly love with which you embraced the Child Jesus, we humbly beg you to look graciously upon the beloved inheritance which Jesus Christ purchased by his blood, and to aid us in our necessities with your power and strength. O most provident guardian of the Holy Family, defend the chosen children of Jesus Christ. Most beloved father, dispel the evil of falsehood and sin. Our most mighty protector, graciously assist us from heaven in our struggle with the powers of darkness. And just as you once saved the Child Jesus from mortal danger, so now defend God’s Holy Church from the snares of her enemies and from all adversity. Shield each one of us by your constant protection, so that, supported by your example and your help, we may be able to live a virtuous life, to die a holy death, and to obtain eternal happiness in heaven. Amen. MEMORARE TO ST. JOSEPH Remember, O most pure spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, my great protector, Saint Joseph, that no one ever had recourse to your protection, or implored your aid without obtaining relief. Confiding therefore in your goodness, I come before you. Do not turn down my petitions, foster father of the Redeemer, but graciously receive them. Amen.

Day 24 – Tuesday of the Fourth Week of Lent Theme: Desire for Healing and New Life Scripture: John 5:6 – “Jesus said to him, ‘Do you want to be healed?’” Invocation of the Holy Spirit Holy Spirit, renewer of hearts, awaken in me a true desire for the healing Christ offers. Meditation Lord, Your question to the paralytic is direct: “Do you want to be healed?” It seems obvious, yet it reveals the heart. Healing requires not only need but willingness. I can grow accustomed to my weaknesses, excuses, and patterns. At times I explain my condition more than I seek change. You invite me to responsibility and hope. Your grace is ready, but You do not force transformation. Lent places this question before me. Do I truly desire conversion, or only comfort? Do I want freedom from sin, or only relief from its consequences? Real healing begins when I answer You honestly and act on Your word. You command the man to rise; You also give the strength to do so. Petition Father, stir in me a sincere desire for spiritual healing. Free me from excuses and resistance to change. Resolution Today I will name one area where I need healing and take a concrete step toward change, relying on God’s grace. Closing Prayer Lord Jesus, You see my condition and still invite me to new life. I answer You today: I do want to be healed. Speak Your word over my life and give me courage to rise and walk in freedom. May this Lent bring real renewal in my heart. Amen. (Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.)

Day 23 – Monday of the Fourth Week of Lent Theme: Trusting Christ’s Word Scripture: John 4:50 – “Jesus said to him, ‘Go your way; your son will live.’ The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went his way.” Invocation of the Holy Spirit Holy Spirit, Spirit of faith, strengthen my trust in the word and promises of Christ. Meditation Lord, the official sought a visible sign, yet You gave him a word. His faith matured when he trusted what You said before seeing the result. I often prefer certainty, signs, and immediate answers. Yet faith grows when I rely on Your word even in uncertainty. Lent trains my trust. You speak through Scripture, the Church, and conscience, inviting me to walk before seeing. The official’s journey home was a journey of faith – each step taken on Your promise. Teach me to rely on Your word when outcomes are unclear. Your word is reliable because You are faithful. Trust in You is never misplaced. Petition Father, deepen my faith in Your word. Remove my demand for constant signs and strengthen my trust in Your promises. Resolution Today I will hold onto one promise from Scripture and recall it when doubt or anxiety arises. Closing Prayer Lord Jesus, Your word gives life and hope. Form in me a faith that trusts before seeing. May this Lent teach me to walk confidently on Your promises and to rest in Your faithfulness. Amen. (Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.)
