Correct, that is all true. It’s just not something The founders wrote into the constitution, our laws written on the books allow or the American people in any majority vote for because they’ve now seen how it’s not in our best interest. We cannot afford to be a world empire that’s why all the previous world empires failed and are founding fathers built this country to avoid. It does benefit the political class and their donors who profit from the empire and our shield it against the inevitable inflation brought on by printing money. We don’t have to spend, it’s the commoners that pay the biggest price both monetarily and with their lives.

Nonsense. I would gladly fight and defend America from any invading force and defend this nation and our sovereignty for my son and fellow citizens. We’ve just been a war almost nonstop for six decades and haven’t been invaded once. Do you realize how many times the US government has funded terrorist organizations in say the past 60 years? It’s dozens and dozens and dozens. What part of our illegal wars of aggression in the Middle East is the “cooperation & beneficial trade” part? Which of these actions shows we’re a good & trustworthy partner? China cooperates & trades with countries(they also spy & steal) but they haven’t caused the deaths of millions in the Middle East by dropping bombs when their politicians can’t accept negotiations their donors aren’t satisfied with.

What kind of “good deal” can we expect realistically after the course of events regarding Iran? It seems impossible to get back to as good of a position as we were in before the 12 day war when the straight was open, no one had been killed, billions hadn’t been spent, the religious leader of Iran who publicly stated for decades they weren’t going after a nuclear weapon hadn’t been murdered, school is full of kids, hospitals in civilian infrastructure hadn’t been blown up, Iran wanted a domestic nuclear energy program and was fine with inspections of the program.
