Hot take but I am honestly very glad that this update is happening, as it keeps kids under 16 much safer than before. Yes, I deeply miss when everyone could talk to each other, but imo kids’ safety is more important than anything else, and the segregation of chat is a sacrifice that the platform has to legally make. The separations between age groups will make it a lot harder, not impossible sadly, but a lot harder, for predators to communicate with kids, and I feel like even though Roblox can still do more, they have so far done a genuine and decent attempt at protecting kids on the platform. I wish people would think about this update for themselves and form their own opinion, instead of following the hivemind stigma where shitting on Roblox all the time is cool. It is not cool at all, and I HATE how people have decided that it is. This Roblox update is a huge W in my opinion, better for kids safety, and I say this as a 15 year old who’s turning 16 on the 28th.

"I was so scared for my life because I can't fight back, I broke practically everything and this guy's on top of me under the water, I can't see what's going on, I can't fight back," Duffy said Steven Dana was charged with an attempt to murder, two counts of strangulation/suffocation, and assault and battery on a disabled person.
