Off-Duty NYPD Officer Shoots Man in Head in Bronx, Victim Critical A 30-year-old man is in critical condition after an off-duty NYPD officer shot him in the head around 9:12 p.m. in front of 167 W. 231st St. in the Bronx, according to police.
