The more complex your OC design is, or the fewer motifs it has, the less popular it becomes. People are more drawn to things that feel familiar.
Sexual appeal is the exception. The urge to reproduce is a dump truck that smashes through all existing higher-level rules.

Understood. Twitter is... you know, I never actually thought about posting stories directly to Twitter. Huh.
I do wonder how the engagement is different for written content versus art. Most people on here don't want something they have to stay with for longer than thirty seconds. But maybe that longer engagement is deeper engagement?
I'll have to think about this.

An OC with no story is incomplete. He is as interesting as a story with no characters.
This is why I don't talk about my OCs. I prefer that the stories or the shitposts they star in bring them to life.

@ChoukaiKaiNi @RasqWrites I'd post stories here if it didn't require me to buy a blue checkmark or set up a doc of some kind (and then you have to convince people to click the doc-) it's. . . . just not as fruitful in returns as posting a render or an illustration.

Though some major goals weren't met, other big things did happen like gaining a whole new level.
I've also brought on DrkSteel (of Zuka 'Zamamee fame) to help with encounter design. @neoteaika has been concepting Level 6 too.

Mission 2B screenshots. Mission 2 of KING HIT got so large that I divided it in two. Which means over these 3 months, the campaign gained an entire new level on top of the original 9.

@capnkaba Deimos is NOT Chief's canonical Mark IV, Deimos is an artistic take on what Chief would look like if he was Banished (or something similar to that) with heavy influence from Heavy Metal themes.
The armor has devil horns for pecs and chains on the bracer for Christ sakes, lol.

@punished_cobalt Yes, traditionally Halo has really never reused assets between games, but that's because Halo was developed during Gaming's growth period: new consoles, new tech, etc. Each game was a generational leap and Xbox wanted Halo to be on the top of each leap. No need for that anymore.

I'd rather see more frequent new Halo experiences re-using existing assets that are still up-to-date then wait long near decade cycles between games for Devs to re-invent the same assets and spend little time on the gameplay/experiences themselves. - 1/2
