@sheepnstars Explicitly the reason, I ditched the cool rigs and played carriers and switched to backpacks and side webbing. Some of the random accessories are literal fire extinguishers.

@TheCountofS I always thought it's interesting that even a bolt from a plasma pistol would most likely cook off their ammunition, unless that is also energy shielded. ODSTs probably have to worry about near misses, or getting grazed by a plasma bolt, and having their magazine blow up on them.

The strange thing about giving kit to a spartan… it puts into perspective how fast they run out of ammo.
2 lances of covenant, most Spartans are bone dry. Hence all the exotic rigging is mostly ammo.

A new Halo leak claims that Halo Studios has changed its plans for the franchise after several reported project cancellations. They have katanas and machetes, cause the tricked out primary is gone in 15 minutes. Probably the most realism breaking aesthetic limit I encounter, is there isn’t enough ammo. I think pouches get mocked because, like water, it’s just not a reality in a Halo game.
