In 2022, the teenager Noelia Castillo Ramos placed in a state institution amid family difficulties and placed in a state-run home together with North African migrant minors where she was raped by them.
The trauma broke her.
Months later, Noelia attempted suicide by jumping from the 5th floor. She survived, but the fall left her paraplegic.
The rapists were never arrested and remain free.
Instead of delivering justice or adequate long-term support, the authorities offered assisted suicide as the solution. Today, March 26, 2026, Noelia Castillo Ramos will be euthanized.
The system that failed to protect her is now "solving the problem" by ending her life

I am so done with foreigners and their anchor babies.
This morning while taking my daughter to school, I got hit by an Indian teenage girl who didn’t even apologize for running the red light. She was more concerned about the wreck being ruled against her. Did she ask if we were OK? Nope! This happened right near my neighborhood. My husband arrived well before her parents did. When he went to check on her, because that’s what decent human beings do, she said she didn’t like the fact that I was mad at her for running the red light. My brain can’t even comprehend that mindset! Did her parents ask if we were OK when they showed up? Nope! They didn’t even acknowledge our presence.
The level of rage I have right now has me shaking. Will she be found at fault? Given that she ran the red light while turning left across the highway and cut into the turn lane, I had a green arrow light, and I had already checked the intersection twice before starting to pull out, I would think so. The girl was flying. She admitted that she “didn’t notice” me given her speed. Am I still worried that her parents will try to scam their way out of paying for damages? Absolutely.
