Some parents (read: Nigerian mothers) think having a beautiful daughter is some kind of investment. They cannot wait for her to grow up and marry rich so they can retire them into a world of riches.
It is even sadder that these parents are not old enough to retire, but they are comfortable watching their daughters receive monetary gifts from different men.
What is worse is that these girls do not even see it for what it is. They think their mother is loving and supportive.
Your young daughter should not be your breadwinner. Get off your ass, work and take care of your child! Your child is your responsibility!

Nasal rinsing (neti pot or sinus rinse) can help clear mucus, but doing it the wrong way comes with risks. The biggest danger is using unsafe water. In rare cases, contaminated water has been linked to a deadly infection caused by Naegleria fowleri, which can enter through the nose and affect the brain.
Beyond that, using unclean devices or dirty water can introduce bacteria into your sinuses, leading to infections or irritation. You can also damage your nasal lining if the salt mix is incorrect or if you rinse too aggressively.
To stay safe, always use distilled or previously boiled water, keep your device clean, and avoid doing it too frequently.
