GDTN - Turkish Airlines has started flights to and from London Stansted Airport with 15 weekly flights. The airline’s network in the United Kingdom has now expanded to six airports, London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Birmingham, Manchester, and Edinburgh.

Cont: The move is to allow the ship to be redeployed to sail from Southampton, England next year instead.

GDTN - Royal Caribbean has canceled a number of scheduled cruises out of Miami this summer with their Freedom of the Seas ship. The company has contacted guests who have already booked their cruises offering them full refund if alternative cruises were not suitable...

GDTN - Singapore Airlines will start daily non-stop services between Singapore and Western Sydney International Airport from 23 November 2026, subject to regulatory approval. The route will be operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft configured with 303 seats in Business and Economy.

GDTN - Hard Rock International is now accepting bookings for Hard Rock Hotel Malta, for reservations for July 2026 and beyond. Located in St. George's Bay, the hotel will feature 397 sea-view rooms, including 25 suites and offers more than 10 dining and bar options.

GDTN - EasyJet has announced a major cabin upgrade, introducing next-generation lightweight New Kestrel seats from Mirus Aircraft Seating, that are over 20% lighter than current seats that will improve both operational efficiency and passenger comfort across its future fleet.

GDTN - ITA Airways will officially join the Star Alliance on 1 April, 2026, marking the final step in its transition away from the SkyTeam alliance. ITA’s Volare loyalty programme will end on 30 March 30, 2026. From 1 April, ITA will adopt Miles & More as its primary programme.

GDTN BREAKING NEWS - EMERGENCY DECLARED AT LaGUARDIA AIRPORT IN NEW YORK CITY. An Air Canada plane has crashed into a fire truck on the runway with some injuries reported.

GDTN - The Georgian hotel on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, California, has joined The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. The hotel joins the brand’s growing footprint in California, alongside Carmel Valley Ranch, Hotel Figueroa, Kissel Uptown Oakland, and Mar Monte Hotel.

GDTN - British Airways has become the first UK airline to introduce Starlink-powered in-flight Wi-Fi. The first 'connected' flight was on a Boeing 787-8 from the UK to Houston. The service offers speeds of over 500 Mbps for passengers in all cabins from take-off at no extra cost.

GDTN - Air Seychelles is expanding its European network with new routes to Rome Fiumicino Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The airline will launch a three-times-weekly nonstop Paris service starting 20 March, followed by a twice-weekly Rome service from 28 March.

Cont: Wind gusts above 90 km/h / 56 mph and waves over 5 m / 16 feet are also expected causing major transport delays and cancellations. The bad weather is set to continue until 22 March.

GDTN - TUI Group is increasing capacity to Spain and Greece for summer 2026, adding 68 additional flights in April as demand for Mediterranean holidays continues to rise. The expansion will provide around 10,000 extra seats for customers for the two holiday destinations.

GDTN - Hilton has opened Hilton Garden Inn Goa Calangute in association with Kokra Resort & Spa Private Limited. The property is located in North Goa’s Calangute area, approximately 40 kilometers from Manohar International Airport and Dabolim International Airport.

GDTN - Hyatt Hotels has opened the 170-room Andaz Lisbon, marking the Andaz brand’s debut in Portugal. The new hotel, located in Lisbon’s Baixa neighbourhood, is near Praça do Comércio and the Tagus River waterfront, with access to local cafés, boutiques, and nightlife.
