Miami defeated a TOTAL of 5 draft picks during conference play. Vanderbilt defeated a TOTAL of 30 draft picks during conference play. The committee MUST STOP allowing teams with NO RESUME in the playoff for the sake of “conference diversity.”

Texas Tech defeated a COMBINED 8 draft picks in their ENTIRE 2025 season. For context, Texas and Oklahoma defeated SINGLE TEAMS that had more draft picks. We MUST get rid of automatic qualifiers that allow SECOND RATE teams into the playoff.

@ClayTravis I stopped w ESPN 4 or 5 years ago. Should have been longer. But I was loyal from the beginning. I watched rodeo and Ausssie Rules football in the early 80s. But, I just can’t take the wokeness anymore. I miss my old ESPN. I hope someone tells me when I can go back back back.

@bubbawalther Went to all Central Ohio regionals. Newark & Bradley were nice teams but not close to typical D1 F4 teams we've seen over past 30+ years. If divs weren't split, Lima Sr & Westerville N likely rep central region. Massillon in Dayton instead of St. Ed's. Totally different field.

To be clear, Ross Hodge should not be fired after one season. That would be reactionary and unfair. But it’s also fair to question the decision that put him in this position in the first place. Just like Neal Brown in 2019, the hire felt like a gamble from the start. And Mountaineer fans know exactly how that story played out. #WVU
