Parents have become very creative with hyphenated first names. (I notice this from signing books for children.) Wonderful mixtures of names, quite often involving 'Mae' as a second part.
@michellexxx111@jhallwood I saw a woman walking a very large bully breed the other day, it was on a lead straining to get towards my dog, she hardly had the strength to hold it. I don't have that sense of absolute fear for myself and my dog if I see a Yorkshire terrier snapping at us.
@jhallwood Alternatively you could just have control of your dog and not allow him to amble up to others. Responsible owners keep their dogs on leads. Regardless of an XL ban you risk your dogs life every time you allow him to do so.
@fesshole I use a euro ( same size but not legal tender in the UK), because I am not tempted to spend it when I need change, just keep it in the glove box of the car.
I haven't used a coin in trolleys for years since discovering that a car/house key works just as well. Give it a wiggle side to side to side in the slot and you're good to go.
@turners121@duffyboyaye@itvfootball On what evidence. All the men in my family are interested, my husband went to several Women's euro matches. Life long Liverpool fan and now also follows the women's team. He just likes football.
Here is the full John Lewis advert, super grateful to have been given this opportunity. Also very exciting that my brother and me got to be in something together.
I realise this is a very unpopular opinion that’ll lose me a few Twitter friends…but whenever I see these on a beach or mountain, I kick them over.
There. I said it.
We would like to express solidarity with two people in our region who have withdrawn their labour this afternoon. Boris and Nadine, let’s hope your colleagues join you ✊
Not a very good picture, but in February I filmed an advert for John Lewis, just seen it on the TV for the first time, very excited. #actor#johnlewis#advert@JohnLewisRetail
@Oldlandite@shitscaredmum@MarkNuttall12 Agree, they were amazing when my mum was dying. I was reluctant at first , it felt like an invasion of privacy or I was letting her down, but they were beautiful humans, I got some sleep and more time just being with mum x
@shitscaredmum@MarkNuttall12 See if you can get a night carer. My wife’s hospice set it up and there were carers readily available unlike day care. Getting some sleep is so important!
Another tough day which started with a seizure. There’s a bit less of Laura every day & it’s almost impossible to bear.
I’m so thankful not to be doing this alone @MarkNuttall12 has been brilliant, he sleeps on the sofa next to Laura’s hospital bad & does all the heavy lifting
Golliwog pub landlady confirms her husband was once photographed in a Britain First T shirt.
But said: “I don’t think Chris is a supporter of Britain First, he was just wearing that shirt because it was convenient at the time.”
Well that's me convinced

@InvisibleJim1 Things that annoy me in the mountains: drones, music, litter, especially toilet paper/ shit. The smell of cannabis or seeing someone drinking a beer not in itself an issue.
There’s been discussions on here about the smell of #cannabis recently. I’ve seen a number of posts similar to this in outdoor groups complaining about it. It’s certainly true that recently both scafell & snowdon seem popular for a smoke , as well as lots of beer drinking!
February has been the most successful month of my acting career so far. I have signed with an agent, filmed a feature, filmed a short and booked a commercial. But I have also had lots of rejections. High highs and low lows!
I am astounded @DailyMailUK why are you taking this ridiculous angle? What kind of state must his terrified wife and daughter have been in? What about their devastated family?
These headlines vilify the victim and sympathise with her murderer.
This is completely unacceptable.
