@LevertBurtmore If an adult chooses to get circumcised to deal with a medical condition, then that’s his choice. What happens to infants is basic mutilation. You’re welcome to call it amputation as well, if you want to.

This makes me so sad. There are men out there who genuinely believe they would voluntarily mutilate their own bodies if their parents hadn’t done it to them. It’s a coping mechanism. It’s hard to accept that your body was damaged by the people who were supposed to protect you.

@BuenoForMiami The problem is it's hard to define "mutilate". Removing tonsils could qualify as a "mutilation" if circumcision also applies. I'm not saying that circumcision *should* be practiced on infants, but I don't think it qualifies as mutilation and it cheapens actual mutilation.
