I recently joined @Synthetaic to continue to push forward the application of #AI to #satellite imagery. Here we were able to track the spy balloon in @planet imagery starting simply with a hand drawn sketch. This technology is unreal and this is just one example of its power.

Aortic aneurysms are terrifying and asymptomatic. They are quiet killers. I only caught mine in an echocardiogram to monitor a bicuspid valve. Without the surgery I would have undoubtedly met a similar fate. My heart goes out to his family. washingtonpost.com/sports/2022/12…

@nfaleide @arjenvrielink @mouthofmorrison Totally. This is also part of our calculus. We’re not targeting growers. We’re reporting on the actions of growers, which are surprisingly difficult to accurately capture at scale in a timely manner. The market for this data is different and overlooked.

@arjenvrielink @GeoBigData @mouthofmorrison The other thing to consider is any EO data in Ag can be incredible variable in its application from year to year. Sure, you might need data everywhere but providing value for it is a moving target mainly from how weather and markets affect the decision process constantly.
