🚀Updates from the #MAGDAProject! We unveil the ZTD time series of the Italian demo site 🇮🇹. The ZTD, which is related to the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere, is obtained by processing the raw 🛰️GNSS data acquired by 3 @GeoGuardGNSS Units with @GReD_srl #Breva software.

Great to see that #GNSS is reported as source of inputs for ECMWF weather forecast models! In the @MAGDA_Project , funded by @EU4Space, GNSS data assimilation will be performed to improve weather forecasts in support of agricultural operations. #geomatics #agriculture #galileo

In MAGDA, @GReD_srl will deploy 9 @GeoGuardGNSS stations distributed among 3 demonstrator sites in Romania, France & Italy. These low-cost dual-frequency #GNSS stations will be used to monitor ☁atmospheric water vapor and💧soil moisture to support 🌾farm management operations.

Breva® provides advanced tools for the design of a #GNSS #monitoring network. In this example, during winter there isn't direct sunlight in the position of interest (Viäl, Bondasca, #Switzerland). This characteristic will consequently drive the design of the final solution.
