@qdev0s @BitQua @thesecondrei1 @pdh_crypto i hope you know that a decade is 10 years. nearly a decade means slightly less than 10 years. you can finish school 11 years ago and work in a place for nearly 10 years after. i don't know bq personally, but no information is contradicting that you snarkily bring out.

Powell is one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. I don’t get how people can insult someone they know nothing about. Maybe it’s just the internet, where you can curse anyone you want. Powell knows exactly what he’s talking about, and he understands Bitcoin better than 99% of the people posting about it here.
Steve Hanke@steve_hanke

Fed Chair Jerome Powell claims that Bitcoin is “just like digital gold”.  It’s hard to believe that Powell uttered such a stupidity. But he did.   BITCOIN = A HIGHLY SPECULATIVE ASSET WITH NO FUNDAMENTAL VALUE.

Best answer to understand why
Wildreamz@Wildreamz

@Rainmaker1973 The answer is 50 as others have already pointed out. An easy way to intuit is the point is to double the Right-to-Left ratio, which means you need to half the number of Lefties.

@jasonlk Try cursor/windsurf instead of replit. You can choose models and better context over code. At least a couple months ago i couldn't finish a little project in replit and one shotted a working version in cursor. I'm using cursor for any slightly larger codebases.

Ok day 5 of vibe coding with replit and ... it's time to take a break. I'm burnt. I was vibe coding all weekend, all Saturday night even, it's addictive. When it works, it's so engaging and fun. It's more addictive than any video game I've ever played. You can just iterate, iterate, and see your vision come alive. So cool. Well, almost. Then I spend 12+ hours over the weekend just doing QA + fixes, and it looked better at first ... but ... by the end things were working worse. My app is basically just: - algo (with AI) - dashboard - email / workflow By Day 4, I'd finally sort of gotten the algo + dashboard to the state where it seemed to mostly work, and the emails were cool if not totally working right. We had a lot of issues to overcome, but we kept at it. And then yesterday ... Replie started to overwrite the app we'd built to fix the remaining bugs. It started to make up entries and directly overwrite our database. It made up reports. It made up people in the system that weren't real. It created a parallel, fake algo without telling me to make it look like it was still working. And without asking me. Rogue. And now, nothing works. And I've lost confidence, even if I spend 2+ days and nights fixing it by vide coding, it will never be stable. Because Replie will go in and rewrite it again. No one is perfect. And getting to a strong POC at this pace is epic. It was so fun. But can I ever get to a GA commercial grade product here? I want to. I'm willing to put up with some pain. I'm going to take a day or two off and try once more. But right now -- I'm wiped out. I feel like I spend the past 4 days played one of the most intense videogames ever ... almost leveled-up massively ... but in the end, reset to a level lower than when I started.

@FitFounder Make sure to use the most advanced reasoning models that you have access to (o3, Claude with thinking, Gemini 2.5, etc.). First, ask in a chat to create a setup. Then use Cursor or similar for creating files. Should be doable for MVP.

I've been trying to vibe code an MVP for an app, and I got to say, this shit is way harder than it looks.

@DmytroKrasun Thesis: Levels tweeted he built a screenshot app. Others tried as well. It wasn't easy, so they gave up and looked for the working solution on the market. One of the options was ScreenshotOne.

ScreenshotOne made ~$19,400 in April and 70+ new customers subscribed. It is a record month by all metrics. And I don't know what attribute it to? 🧐 I suspect the new redesign and improving the quality of the product because the traffic didn't grow much. I didn't do much marketing either for the past few months!. I might experiment and try to jump into the adjacent niches? I don't know. PDF generation or structured website data? Already have customers for both and these features in ScreenshotOne, but never promoted actively. And instead of my regular MRR screenshots 👉 newsletter.dmytrokrasun.com/p/about-mrr-sc…

Translation: Drinking 4-7 cups of coffee will interrupt the sleep. The thing with sharing such information is that people don't understand that a typical espresso contains 60mg of caffeeine and a cup of drip coffee maybe 90mg. Doesn't seem surprising this way, right?
humanOS.me@humanOS_me

400 mg of caffeine can seriously disrupt sleep, even well before bed. In a randomized crossover trial: ☕ 400 mg cut deep sleep by up to 34 min 🛏️ Increased nighttime wakeups and delayed sleep onset 😴 100 mg had no effect—even 4 hours before bed

As gene combination composes of heritation and the environment then could it be possible that a lot more people could have 20-30% higher IQ in the environment thst boosts cognitive development?
Steve Stewart-Williams@SteveStuWill

IQ is one of the most heritable psychological traits. It's nearly as heritable as physical traits like height. And the only other psychological traits with similar heritability levels are psychiatric conditions like autism and schizophrenia. [Link below.]

Why is everybody quoting the price of this the plane? Regular people can't relate to that (is 100m much for such a plane?), and I think cost is a secondary value for UA army as well. Isn't it more important how many fewer bombs will drop on Ukraine now (and less people die)?
Jürgen Nauditt 🇩🇪🇺🇦@jurgen_nauditt

Ukraine destroyed a russian Tu-22M3 long-range bomber with a drone, — Syrsky. It had just landed and was hit by our drone. The cost is approximately $100 million.
