@Theone324 Hahaha. I’m assuming most closers are taken? These two are on the deeper end of things but have looked good thus far Keaton Winn Jonathan Loáisiga You could always gamble with the mess in COL maybe grab Soto in PIT if he’s there

Bullpen Stock We made it one week!! (Fantrax Roster %) Stock Up📈 Paul Sewald (40%) He's the closer. His roster % is criminal right now Jordan Romano (57%): He's the closer. Hop on the Rollercoaster Mark Leiter Jr. (9%) Is he the closer no? Not in my opinion. Is he worth a roster spot. Not in my opinion. Did he convert the teams 1st save? Yes and that means enough to move his stock up Tyler Alexander (16%) Still not buying him as the closer but if they have a chance today he'll get it due to usage of the other guys. Victor Vodnik (26%) He's bad but the rest of the bullpen is worse. He'll close the very few chances they see (Keep adding Erceg and Baker) Stock Watch Kenley Jansen (94%) No concern. Rushed into the game Dennis Santana (81%) Interesting usage yesterday. 8th inning to clean up a mess. Not ideal for saves. Stock Down📉 Will Vest (60%): Very high for saves. Bad night tonight. He's a guy I'd cut since I prefer Kyle Finnegan if Kenley goes down #FantasyBaseball #Closers #MLB #Mr9thInning

@bb_botski I think they are pretty equal. I’d probably go Sewald. He has fewer threats if he struggles

Daily Bullpen Notes (3/31) 🗒️ TEX: The bullpen had a good night. Winn pitched early and picked up the win. He doesn't appear to be in the mix for saves right now. Garcia had the 8th with a 4 run lead and had no issues. By the 9th they were up 5 and Martin pitched giving up two runs. Martin, Garcia, and Winn have made 3 appearances in 4 days. This whole bullpen is getting work in so far this season. Tonight's appearances seem good for the Tyler Alexander people out there. At the very least he is part of a committee at best he could be the head of it right now PIT: They used Santana in the 8th tonight. They had 5 run lead going into the inning but Barco gave up two homers and a single. Santana came on and got out of the jam. Maybe they felt he could get up quicker than anyone. Either way Soto pitched the 9th after they extended the lead. It's not ideal for us save chasers but it was the biggest situation in the game so going to the best reliever makes some sense COL: Juan Mejia pitched the 4th and 5th today and took the loss. Zach Agnos was also awful pitching the 7th and 8th. This bullpen is bad and despite Vodnik's blow up yesterday the performance and usage of the other relievers makes me believe he is the closer with a decent hold of the role ATH: Ill be talking a lot about the ATH bullpen this year. Tonight we saw the good as they flipped the normal usage pattern over. Harris saw the 6th, the earliest he's pitched in a game this year while Mark Leiter picked up the save pitching the 9th the latest he has pitched in a game this year. Sterner and Barlow had the 7th and 8th. Leiter got out of a jam and did get Acuna out. I don't think he magically becomes the closer after tonight but getting a chance is important. If you're desperate he could be considered though I still think any of 6 guys could see action in the 9th LAA: Jordan Romano picked up a two out save after Drew Pomeranz got a LHB out to start the 9th. Nice bounce back for Pomeranz. Romano threw half his pitches for strikes and walked a guy but he got the two outs needed for the save. He's the closer and as long as he keeps converting he will keep getting chances. I procced with caution here but it continues to be his job to lose MIL: Uribe pitched the 8th today picking up a hold which seems odd since Megill was off. Looking deeper he pitched against the top of the lineup. Basically he got the best guys out. MIL added a run and Zerpa closed it out for no save. Uribe is a top holds guy and could see the 9th if Megill struggles or goes down. MIL always has a good bullpen STL: They flipped the high leverage guys on us today as well. Stanek took the 7th the earliest he's pitched this year against the bottom of the lineup and allowed a walk. Romero took the top of the lineup in the 8th but was clearly in to face Soto. He had no issues. ROB got the 9th and got three quick outs to pick up the save. I've always liked ROB here but all three of these guys could see chances with Romero facing big name LHB late and the other two getting the rest of the outs, Tonight is how the bullpen should play out IMO DET: Very ugly 8th inning for DET tonight that cost them the game. Started with Drew Anderson who had pitched a good 7th but it was only a 4 run lead. He gave up a couple hits before they rushed in Vest who looked awful. Vest walked a couple, got a couple outs, and gave up a big hit. Kenley came on and gave up a three run homer which resulted in DET going down 7-5. Interesting management in my opinion as Vest should have just started the inning. Bad night for Vest tough luck for Kenley getting rushed in to try and put the fire out LAD: The dreaded 4 run lead appearance for Edwin Diaz. Naturally he played with his food a little before ending the game. A HBP, walk and a single allowed a run to score before he locked in and struck out the last two guys to end the game. So frustrating if you have him in fantasy #FantasyBaseball #MLB #Mr9thInning #Closers

Still early, but they stink at ABS, they stink at hitting, they stink at preventing runs, they stink at making good decisions. Other than that, it’s been a hot start to the season for the Red Sox.
