@harperwyntr Two shocking choices for different reasons. The Greens’ hearts are in the right places, but there’s no thought into what downsides their policies have and what it’ll cause. And Reform is just a poor option too, paying for poor healthcare and a more extreme Tory party.

Actually, different salaries should only affect how luxurious your life is, not your food quality or ability to afford rent. If you work 40 hours at any job, your income should be enough to live in the town you work in. Thinking otherwise is an abysmal indicator of your humanity.

Everyone keeps saying “You can’t run a business then” but what about businesses that naturally do not make you rich? For example a small private local coffee shop. I don’t know, but surely they naturally don’t make a fortune?

Green Party say they plan to ensure everyone has a minimum wage of £31,000pa. I run a business. I don’t earn that. I employ 2 people. They don’t earn that. The business I run doesn’t take in enough to pay that. I’d need to charge customers way more to afford that 🤷♂️. Or go bust.
